The workers were friendly, polite, and professionalDid a great job! I had an issue that damaged the driveway after it was just doneThey came back and went above and beyond to make it look great again! Thank you so much and I could not recommend them enough!

The guys did a great job with the driveway The company policy is not to seal the seam at the curb at the street and at the apron by the garage Had this been specified at the beginning, someone else would have been sealing the driveway! I have had many companies seal driveways at multiple properties over the years, ALL of them seal the seams! That is a good reason to have a professional company seal your driveway The materials they use are superior to what the consumer can obtain and use Anyway, the company said it was their policy to NOT seal those seams They offered no other help in the matter Will never use this company again! Will make sure others in the neighborhood don't use the company either!

Had a horrible experience with Superior AsphaltThe company did a terrible job of filling cracks and coating the drivewayI waited the appropriate time to before driving on the driveway yet my tires left marks and tore up the new seal coatI called the office and sent pictures of my driveway to the ownerMultiple phone calls with no responsemonths later you could hardly tell the driveway was seal coated months later I finally got a call, wondering why I haven't paid the billI explained all the issues and resent the text's of the pictures I had sent to the ownerJames gave me a lot of excuses of why the driveway looked like it did and offered to cut $off of the bill for the issues I hadI told James I would pay him even though they did a terrible job just to stop the phone calls I sent him a check and a letter with my displeasure with the job they didThey lost the check I sent them and I had to go to the bank and stop paymentI had the carbon copy of the check I had written and at this point had no reason to not put the check in the envelope as James accused me ofFrom an earlier complaint about their business, this was not the first time they had lost a checkSee review from [redacted] on google review of their businessI would never use this business again and certainly would not recommend their shady business to anyoneIt's a wonder they are still in business the way they treat their customers

We have had Superior Asphalt seal our driveway many times over the yearsI've dealt with both Kelly and Dana in the office as well as the ownerThey've always been very helpful as well as honestCase in point, they actually turned down our business last year because they said our driveway wasn't ready to be sealed yetSo we called them this year and they did another good job for us last weekWe also have friends and relatives who have used them and we have heard nothing but positives about their reliability and trustworthinessThey have actually sent the same crew to seal our driveway each of the last times over a period of years so their crews are experiencedTo me, that indicates they treat their employees well, which I think says something about a business

Terrible experience! Never use! Came on a rainy day and still seal coated driveway! They finally came back and redid it but got splattered all over our house and garage doors!
Then received no bill until 2nd notice when I promptly sent a checkI heard nothing for months when I got harassing phone calls saying I needed to payI never once got anything else in the mail and not sure where my check went but the guy, James, was very very rude on the phoneNever ever again will I go with this company

They say that you can drive on your driveway after hours I waited two days and it left marks from my tires I waited days still left marksI called and got a recording left a message haven't heard back from them

I've used this company times in the past years (I have my driveway done every years)They have done an excellent job every timeThis year I got to watch them in action and was impressed at how quickly they work, but with high quality of workmanshipMy cracks are always sealed and the seal coat covers edge to edge of my driveway without going over onto the concrete

There are never any guarantees with sealcoating through Minnesota winters due to so many different factors - snow removal; age of driveway; previous history of driveway (has it been sealed before? When was last time sealed? What kind of sealer was used in the past); freeze/thaw cycles; salt, oil and other contaminants; etc, etc
...Regardless, we have always required a customer call us before the first snowfall of the year of application for any customer service on that particular sealcoatingOnce a winter has passed it is not possible to guarantee anythingMost of our customers realize this, and this is why we rarely get any kind of customer service call the following year after applicationOnce sealed, the sealer should be allowed to completely wear off - which takes to years - before sealing againIf certain areas are wearing faster than other areas this would be not too out of the ordinaryWe would love to see photo's of ***'s drivewayIf he would like to text photo's to: 952.210.1962, and include his name, address, telephone number, and date sealed, then we will call him and give him our expert opinion on his drivewayWe seal close to 10,driveways each year, and this is the only complaint we have heard from a customerOne thing is sure - had we received a telephone message we would have responded immediately with the above informationConsidering our volume of business, if we were not returning telephone calls, then we would be getting hundreds if not thousands of complaints each and every yearWe get many telephone calls from customers with questionsWe respond to each and every one of them, which is why our customer satisfaction rate is unparalleled - over percentSincerely, Superior Asphalt

good will customer discount due to the slight delay in getting back to him (we are closed in the winter months, and our phone is only checked once per month in those months as we typically don't receive any calls during this time).Everything with the driveway is fine, and he simply needs to let the driveway wear for 3 years, and then seal again as usual to prolong the life of the asphalt. Again, this issue has been amicably resolved as of yesterday, 1/31/17. 6 months later I finally got a call, wondering why I haven't paid the bill. I explained all the issues and resent the text's of the pictures I had sent to the owner. James gave me a lot of excuses of why the driveway looked like it did and offered to cut $60 off of the bill for the issues I had. I told James I would pay him even though they did a terrible job just to stop the phone calls. I sent him a check and a letter with my displeasure with the job they did. They lost the check I sent them and I had to go to the bank and stop payment. I had the carbon copy of the check I had written and at this point had no reason to not put the check in the envelope as James accused me of. From an earlier complaint about their business, this was not the first time they had lost a check. See review from [redacted] on google review of their business. I would never use this business again and certainly would not recommend their shady business to anyone. It's a wonder they are still in business the way they treat their customers.

Thank you Revdex.com for providing us with this information. Some substance (most likely gasoline) has been spilled on this asphalt after our sealcoat, and has eaten way at the asphalt in a small spot. It's very clear (100% clear) that this had...

nothing to do with the sealcoat. We have been one of a select few Minnesota companies nominated for the 2014 Revdex.com Torch award for Ethics. For over 25 years we have concentrated on providing only the best sealcoat and asphalt services, and best customer service possible. If there is any issue with our sealcoating we come back immediately and take care of it. We were completely honest when we provided this customer with our expertise concerning the spot on his driveway. Unfortunately he has taken the attitude (possibly to get out of paying the bill?) that he does not believe in our expertise. We run into a few of these types of customers each year. When this happens our hands seem to be tied. Our sealcoat was done completely up to specification and turned out great. After it was done something (most likely gasoline) was spilled on the asphalt and created a small spot where it has eaten away at the surface. It is 100% impossible for this to happen as a result of any phase of our sealcoating. Therefore it may be that this complaint has been posted as way way to get a free sealcoating. So, we are not going to pursue payment of the $169.00 invoice.. We have adjusted the balance due for the service to zero. This was the 3rd time now we've used this company. This was the first time that I had to call them back. The cracks in my driveway are showing there age now and the filler was sucked down to where the crack was still open. I called into the Superior Asphalt office and received a call back within the same day. They came back out the next day and refilled the cracks full again. Then called me and told me they would have another crew out to reseal the driveway so that it would all match. AWESOME job and great communition, they were easy to deal with and very proment on resolving my call back.. Would be more than happy to recommend this company to anyone, family and friends.
