T <r[redacted]>Date: Wed, Jun 17, 2015 at 10:38 PMSubject: ID [redacted]To: [redacted]Dear [redacted],We would like to respond to the complaint [redacted] about our business by [redacted].Mr. [redacted] purchased 2007 [redacted] in April 2015. He test drove it for quite a while on a highway (Rt 13) and inspected it in person. He absolutely loved the vehicle, he liked the price  and decided to buy it. He was informed by me that this car was just traded in and we did not have a chance to detail it and he agreed to buy this car in current condition as-is. He inspected the tires and said they may need to be replaced soon but he didn't care because he loved the price. At the time of the purchase I offered to buy for him a 3 months/4,500 miles extended warranty. I explained to Mr. [redacted] that this warranty only covers motor and transmission internal parts only. He was also told that the warranty will be active as soon as the payment is received and the check is cleared by the warranty company which may take up to 10 bus days. He said he understood and he accepted it. Mr. [redacted] called the warranty company before the warranty was active and they rejected the claim. However, they responded in writing to Superior Auto Land asking to resubmit the claim with proof of repairs. If Mr. [redacted] will provide us proof of repairs to transmission or motor internal parts, I will resubmit his claim to the warranty company for him. Please note: They do not cover tires, check engine lights, hub assembly, brakes - they cover transmission or motor internal parts only!Mr. [redacted] can stop by my office anytime to provide proof of repairs and fill out the inspection form which the warranty company provided. If you have any questions, feel free to email me at r[redacted].Thank you,Mike T[redacted]Superior Auto Land Inc7826 Bristol PikeLevittown, PA 19057--

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: The representative told me the payment was never received therefore I was not covered at all. The check engine light is just an indicator that there is a problem which will turn on for a great number of reasons big and small. The representative I spoke with did tell me I would have been covered and the paper work states that the problem would have been covered. I am not looking for tires to be covered, what I am stating is that after 30 days is  the time frame when the paperwork for coverage was actually submitted and therefore has created a problem. If the paperwork were submitted as required I would not have to go through this process of inspecting and of being denied for coverage. Mike did not submit the paperwork until I called him again telling him that the coverage was not activated because of non payment. At that time it was well after 30 days and mike said his bank account was hacked and that he would now send out the paperwork for coverage with a check. I can not help if I buy in good faith and pay entirely the sum requested with a warranty that the dealer did not submit the payment for coverage until after 30 days of purchase. Therefore it was a case of not fulfilling their end of the bargain which now leaves me with a car that wont pass inspection and needed to be repaired in order to even drive the vehicle with out causing a potential accident. I would ask Mike to acknowledge that I did try to discuss the matter with him before I contacted the Revdex.com. He said that he would buy the car back at $5500.00 but failed to acknowledge that I did pay to repair  the vehicle and transfer of title also fell on me which means I would be at a loss of over $2000.00. His reply was to take off the tires which realistically is not a very good choice as the tires are specific to that vehicle. I do not want to complicate this, but my company phone does record all incoming and outgoing calls which is actually in New Jersey therefore allowing me to submit these records. All I ask is that we understand that whether or not one thing or the other is covered, the fact still remains that the warranty was not submitted until after 30 days which is truly unacceptable.
