Good Morning! I would like to start off by saying that I have never gotten a complaint from a customer in 16yearsMs*** got her vehicle towed in to my shop for an unknown reasonVehicle was drivable and didn't have enough damage to have it towed. She lived across the lake and she
said she did not feel safe driving the carIf you look at my photos of the impact and after the bumper was removed there was minimal damage to the rear of her vehicleVery repairable! The insurance company looked at this vehicle before and after we removed the rear bumper. We also removed the front cover because we thought she was pushed into another vehicle The insurance company said there was no vehicle that she hit and they had us put the front cover back on. So I inspected the front of her vehicle for free of chargeThere was no damageThe insurance company did not say this vehicle was even near a totalAs you know a vehicle can not be a deemed a total loss unless it goes over 75% of its value. We inspected both rear frame rails for damage and there was none. We did not even change the rear body panel of the vehicle, just a minor repair(see photos) When Ms*** picked up her vehicle she was happy as can be with itI even told her if there is any questions or problems please call mea month and a half later she texted me about her mechanical issues, I tried to call and text her back and I got no response. I called the insurance adjuster to let him know she had a problem with some mechanical issues and he instructed me to tell her If the owner feels the mechanical issues are related to the rear end impact she could either find a mechanic of her liking to try and relate it to the loss or for us to send it to a mechanicIf they could relate these damages they would pay for it , if not she would be responsible for any charges. Both Myself and the inside insurance adjuster tried calling MsTuner several times and got no answerWhen we finally did Ms*** was blaming us for faulty repairs and yelling at us. She was claiming her frame bent, wheel bearings no good, fuel pump went out a problem with her axel a leaky oil pan, bad tires and alignment issuesNone of which the body shop or this impact had anything to do with. Again If she has a mechanic that can prove all these problems were from the loss I'm certain the insurance company would pay for itI have all invoices for the work we performed which the insurance company paid us to doAlso Ms*** owes us money for work performed and parts purchased by my shop that was on a supplement that the insurance company approved but accidentally sent the check to Ms***. I believe this whole thing has gotten way out of line and I can prove the work that I did was not faulty or to harm anyone. As a side note this vehicle had over 168k miles on the vehicle and was not very well taken care of. The interior and maintaince lights on the dash could prove thatI have more photos and invoices that I could prove everything. Thanks , Ronnie G*** ***
