I am a DIY'er and my furnace went downI did some self diagnostics via the internet and came to the conclusion it was a pressure switchI traveled to a local parts store to purchase a new pressure switch and while I was at the counter, *** of Cowboy's Heating & AC was purchasing a part for an unrelated jobHe overheard me talking to the sales person about the pressure switchHe came over, asked me about my furnace and told me that my diagnosis was completely wrong and that I would be wasting my money to purchase the pressure switch based on his many years of experience with Carrier furnacesHe then walked me to his truck in the parking lot, explained the entire Carrier furnace and issues with the design, gave me his suggestion on what he thought was wrong with it, and even showed me the physical part I needed to clean to get the furnace to work againI couldn't believe what had just happened to meWhere in this world do you find a true professional that will take time out of his job that he was buying a part for to explain the problem to me, how to fix it, and even give me a backup suggestion just incase that does not completely fix the issue and ask nothing in return but to remember his company on the next job?! I went home, reinstalled the part I had incorrectly removed, cleaned the part he suggested and the furnace fired right up and has been working flawlessly every sinceAmazing! While I have never hired this company for a paying job, I can competently say that these folks are true professionals! Anyone that has the character to offer help to a stranger in a parking lot (in my opinion) will treat you, your family and your house with total respectIts hard to find HVAC people you can trust which is why I started doing stuff myselfI will use Cowboy's Heating and Air for all my future needs based on this chance encounterThanks ***!
