Was given horrible financing on the car I bought. Was not informed that the interest was front loaded.In Dec. of 2012 I purchased a [redacted]. I was informed by the team there that [redacted] would be my loan provider. I had been using [redacted]. I was only told about in the interest rate. [redacted] loan was front loaded meaning that it was an interest first loan. I discovered this when trading in my car after making 14,000 in payments. The car cost 19k and I still owed a payoff of 15,800. I was informed that Superior gets money from [redacted] for these loans. Superior cost me thousands of dollars just to line their pockets through this unethical practice. I have the same credit score now and I was able to secure a non frontloaded loan with 1/2 the interest rate on a newer car. Desired SettlementI know I will never be able to get back the funds I lost dealing with Superior, but I want a closer look at their financing practices by the state. Superior sold me a 2003 VW Passat but did not disclose major service issues with this vehicle2003 VW Passat ** was purchased with cash Dec 16, 2013, with my [redacted] credit card. After driving the car for approximately 500 miles, a hole was discovered in the radiator, the engine had "used" over a quart of oil and the CV joints needs replacing. Superior did not disclose that $1300 of additional service is due. I, Lawrence Harris received a sales flyer from Superior Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep on or around Feb. 17, 2016. Normally I would throw this kind of literature in the trash, but because I'm considering buying a truck in the near future, I proceeded to read and scratch off the silver paint on the flyer to reveal my number. To my surprise, the number matched for the 2016 RAM 1500 or $25,000 cash. My Lucky Number was 293046. On Monday, Feb. 22, 2016, I went by the dealership during normal business hours to check the authenticity of the flyer!!! I spoke to a sales-person about checking my number. The dealership DID NOT display the Randomly Selected Winning Numbers. According to the flyer, the Randomly Selected Winning Number would be displayed during normal business hours between contest dates at that participating location!!! When I started to leave the dealership that same day, another salesperson smirked at the idea that I had fallen for the CON!!! There was no number to compare to and no prize!!! PLEASE HELP with these fraudulent advertisements. I'm expecting a winning gift of $25,000 or a New 2016 RAM 1500!!! I do have the flyer as evidence!!! THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT MESSED UP MORE THAN WERE SUPPOSED TO DO. MY HEATING AND AIR, ELECTRIC LOCKS HOOD LATCH AND EXHAUST LEAK FROM PUTTING A MOTOR INI TOOK MY 2000 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE IN TO REPLACE THE MOTOR IN IT. THEY DID PUT THAT IN BUT WHEN I RECEIVED MY CAR BACK I HAD AN OIL LEAK WHICH THEY FIXED. MY HEATING AND AIR DOES NOT WORK, THEY BROKE MY HOOD LATCH, I HAD AN EXHAUST LEAK THAT THEY WOULD NOT FIX. I HAD TO TAKE MY CAR TO ANOTHER SERVICE DEPARTMENT WHERE THEY TOLD ME SUPERIOR WAS AT FAULT AND I PAID $303.00 TO FIX THE EXHAUST LEAK.THEY CLAIMED WHEN SUPERIOR PUT THE MOTOR IN THEY DIDN'T CONNECT IT RIGHT RESULTING IN IT SHIFTING TO ONE SIDE AND CAUSING AN EXHAUST LEAK.Desired SettlementTHE WARRANTY COMPANY FROM WHICH MY MOTOR WAS UNDER COVERAGE PAID THEM FOR INSTALLING MY MOTOR. Deceptive advertising practicesWe received a scratch off flyer from Superior Chrysler Dodge Jeep in Henderson, NC. The flyer had 3 potential prizes with numbers under them. After uncovering the number it matched the number listed under the $25000 or Dodge Truck prize. After reading all the rules and fine print I felt as if I may have won the prize as indicated on the flyer. Still somewhat skeptical I called the dealership, the salesperson I spoke with indicated if the code matched we were the winner, but we had to come in to verify. Once we arrived at the dealership a salesperson told us we they had to gather some information prior to reviewing the flyer. We provided her with the information and we discussed te possibility of trading our Jeep. After giving her our keys to evaluate our vehicle I told her we would like to discuss the flyer and prize prior to moving forward. She took the flyer and circled a few things on it and said we would have to try the key that came with the flyer to determine if we won the truck. At this point I was pretty sure it was a scam, but figured I would try the key anyway. Of course it did not work.
