I am rejecting this response because: He is lying in his responseI gave him the deposit in November He then stated the weather was getting bad and he would have to wait till spring to do the jobIn the spring I had a knee replacement and told him since I was home recuperating it would be a good time to do the job He then found many excuses not to start the jobHis Amish contractor was busyThen his Amish contractor was not returning his callsHe then tried to tell me I needed a new roof and would quote me a priceSince my roof was just replaced in 2008, I questioned his suggestionI called the roofer that did my roofThey took off a shingle and sent it to the manufacturer There was nothing wrong with the shingles, or the roof jobBrian just tried to get another job out of it I NEVER, NEVER cancelled the jobHe kept putting me offI have all the backup information to prove the situationI really don't want to take this to courtI just want my $3,back so I can get another company to do the jobI cannot trust Superior Exterior and Interiors at this pointAnd yes he did do my kitchenI found out many things after the kitchen was completedBut I had already given him the deposit for the porchHis employees would bring their family members to my home while the were workingHis electrician brought his sonHis plumber brought his daughter or granddaughterAnd one of his employees brought his wifeAlso he had his girlfriend install the electrical lights,( she is not a licensed electrician)My kitchen light has loosened from the ceiling, the dishwasher was not anchored, the dryer vent is leaking dampness into the ceiling where he installed it, and the counter top and back-splash are lifting from the wall and the seamsI am so disappointedI really trusted himHe said he understood my situation ( I am raising my three grandchildren, and really saved to do these improvements)He assured me I could trust himSince he was dating my friend I did trustI am not the only one he did this toOne of my co-workers hired him to do their kitchen and bathroom and he never completed their job eitherAnd as for my friend (his girlfriend at the time) he still owes her money for all the work she did for himHe is in my opinion not trustworthy or respectable

Business owner stated that the complainant was a friend of a girl he used to date He had remodeled her kitchen and then she asked him to do her porch roof After more than a month from when she signed the contract, she changed her mind and didn't want the work done She claimed that she did not have the money at the time The contract she signed clearly states that the customer forfeits the deposit if cancelled after the three day cancellation period This matter never went to court

His Amish contractor was busy. 2. Then his Amish contractor was not returning his calls. 3. He then tried to tell me I needed a new roof and would quote me a price. Since my roof was just replaced in 2008, I questioned his suggestion. I called the roofer that did my roof.
