This complaint was hard to choose just 1 "Complaint Type". I have all of the following complaints:
Warranty-company has not provided me with the warranty.
Product-pool has several imperfections on the finish that have not been addressed.
Repairs-Over the past 8 months I have tried to get the leaks repaired
Service-takes long to get a response.
So, I will begin at the beginning...On September 21, 2018 I entered a contract with Superior Fiberglass Pools (***), for the purchase of an inground fiberglass pool. *** informed me that the whole process would take approximately 4-6 weeks. I understood and said 6 weeks max is not a problem. On November 16th the excavation began.(The NIghtmare)All was going as scheduled until I was told via text,(I have all the textes) they fired the excavator. So here we roll into the new year...Approximately Mid January the pool was dropped into the hole. Filling half way with water. Another couple weeks pass and the plumbing was connected. We then filled the pool all the way. I noticed it was loosing water. Then the electrical was all connected. Once this was done when the pool pump was on the breaker would trip. this tooks several weeks before the repair was complete for that.They came out and put silicone around all the intakes and light to stop the leaks Then the lights stopped working. They replaced the main power thing for the lights. At this point I noticed the steps were crooked, still leaking and there was discoloration on the finish of the pool steps, walls and bottom. then I noticed that the pool was not level. I have had several different project managers that I have texted with and the pool still leaks, is not level and I still do not have the manufacturer's warranty. Last week they told me someone would be here this week to repair the leaks. I just texted them and they told me next week. This has been going on for far too long.With several different people entering and exiting this project. Please Help.
Some of the delay was due to access and scheduling of workers around the time frame provided. The customer locks the gate so we can only go in when she is there, which is usually on a Monday. We also were experiencing a major situation in getting assistance from the manufacturer. We are no longer working with this company as a result. There has been a lot of communication to the customer around the concerns she expressed with solutions and information to help. We are still in the process of remedying issues around the remaining concerns.Regarding the leak, we conducted a pressure test and sent a plumber over to repair a pipe and the leak appeared to be handled. Then when the customer reported an additional problem, we hired a leak detection company for $500 at our expense, to conduct other testing. It was determined that there was a slow leak around the face plate of the skimmer, which we resealed. We will recheck once the final repair is complete.We addressed the issues of uniformity of the color with the factory and they have been slow to respond, however we did get confirmation Friday that they were coming out to assist. They arrived this Monday finally, and are in the process of doing the cosmetic repair. One of the handlings is to drain the pool and buff the interior. The pool appears to be unlevel due to the particular shape of the factory mold, so we are addressing it by tiling and building up the steps. The manufacturer reported that they were sending the warranty a few weeks ago. It should have arrived in her hands by now or will very soon.
