In an effort to maintain good customer service and communication we
are replying to the complaint register on behalf of this customer. On
7/23/at 12:pm [redacted] contacted our office and a service call
request was emailed to him. He spoke with Michelle and she informed him
that the trim pieces that were glued might have been done by the previous
customer but she wasn't sure and would have to check with an installer and get
back to him. After Michelle spoke with an installer she verified that the
corners were glued as part of our installation process and called back Mr
[redacted] and let him know that this was standard operating procedure and
installed properly. He returned the necessary service forms to us on
7/28/15. Mr[redacted] can verify this with Joe [redacted], Technical Operations Leader, for Owens Corning Construction Services. Joe oversees
the installation training and new product development for the franchise
network. His direct line is ###-###-#### or via email at [redacted]
I am not sure who Mr[redacted] spoke with when he called Owens
Corning Corporate and it is very unfortunate that they gave him
misinformation. We have always followed all of the standard operating
procedures in installing the Owens Corning Basement Finishing System.
I have reached out to Mr [redacted] on 8/at 11:pm, he returned
my call on 8/at 4:pm and received my voice mail. I returned that
message the next day at 3:pm and again this morning at am and have yet to
hear back from Mr[redacted].
We take our customer service serious and would like to get this
situation resolved at the customers earliest convenience
Please include in your file that the product comes with a limited
lifetime transferable (up to one time) warranty on the product and a one year
warranty on the labor of the product. Both warranties are available upon
request
All the Best,
