Mr [redacted] has indeed contacted me about this situation and told me he had several leaksAfter discussing it with him I requested that he send me some photos of the areas and I would get someone out the next dayWhen I received the pictures There was not water stains or anything visible so I did not send my foreman out to start looking for a water leak that did not appear to existWhen I went to Mr ***s house the following week the water leaks were dry and no physical evidence remainedI believe we are dealing with a moisture issue not a water leakI have been out to the house times for this and now have a plan to correct the problem if it is in fact being caused by the roof

The customer called me with complaints of a poor job so I immediately went to her house to inspect and discuss this with her
We looked around together and she told me what her concerns were and we made an appointment to come back to look again as it was getting dark and it was trick or treat
night
I showed up, as scheduled, to check on her concernsThe roof looked fine to me but she was so angry and hostile that we could not have a civil conversationAt the conclusion of this meeting I agreed to make things right
She demanded we replace the front of the roofI asked her if this would make her happy? She said yesSo I scheduled the work days laterWe tore off a perfectly good roof and replaced itWhen I met with her after this she was even more hostileShe refused to pay any portion of the original contract even though I explained that we were continuing to do whatever it took to make her happy
She has lost confidence in me doing the work and I have lost trust in her to pay for the work we have doneAfter reading through her complaint I feel she has no intention of paying me at all
I have been to her house times to try to resolve her concerns and make her happyMy hope is to resolve this situation in a win win manner if she is willing

send my foreman out to start looking for a water leak that did not appear to exist. When I went to Mr [redacted]s house the following week the water leaks were dry and no physical evidence remained. I believe we are dealing with a moisture issue not a water leak. I have been out to the house 2 times for this and now have a plan to correct the problem if it is in fact being caused by the roof.

Mr. J[redacted]'s statement is true in that there were only a couple, faint spots visible when he came to the house.  The second time it happened, Mr. J[redacted] came out and could see some evidence of water staining. I  am impressed with Mr. J[redacted] tireless efforts to determine the cause of the issue.  He was out to the house no less than 4 times total to look for the cause of the problem.  As it turned out, a ridge vent above cathedral ceiling was shortened about  2-1/2 feet short when installing the roof, trapping moisture in house resulting in visible wet areas in room below.  Mr. J[redacted] and his crew were out yesterday and corrected the the vent issue, and inspected/adjusted venting over the entire house.  I appreciate  Mr. J[redacted]'s willingness to listen to the issue, trouble shoot it and resolve it - thank you Superior Home Improvement!**Note - I feel that Mr. J[redacted] has identified and corrected the moisture problem in my home.  I won't know for sure until we experience more extreme cold and snow, here in [redacted], OH. to find out.  Given the good faith effort Mr. J[redacted] has put forth in resolving this so quickly,, I would like to strike this complaint from your records entirely.  Thank you for your assistance in this matter.
I reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find the resolution is satisfactory to me.

I am rejecting this response
because: This man has done nothing but lie to me. I have f/w pictures several
times to show there was obviously a problem, I can’t make up something that is
clearly documented in pictures. His denial that there was not a problem with
the roof shows his dishonesty as my pictures indicate. I had witnesses on each
occasion when I spoke with him. He came out the 1st night after his crew had
left and obviously I was angry but hostile I was not. He also came in and
accused me of damaging my own living room ceiling. His crew damaged many things
and I have sent the pictures to show it in my follow up responses to Revdex.com. I
have also made a list of the damages and missing items. I have tried to get the
cost together of what it will cost to replace or repair while he has done
nothing to assist in this process. He is aware of the damages and things his
crew broke and discarded but he fails to mention or acknowledge it in his
response to me. He made several comments that he could just skip out on the
repairs so it is correct I am refusing to pay him until the repairs are
complete. His 2nd crew that came out even spoke with my mom and told her that
the 1st crew had really done a bad job on my roof. The pictures show my
concerns so obviously I am not making this up. I can’t fabricate what the
pictures clearly show. He knows the roof was a mess and the additional damages and
admitted so when he came out the 1st two times. He admitted they ruined the
wood by cutting it with a hammer claw. After he returned from his vacation he
then wanted to deny anything was ever wrong. He came to my house again and his
conversation started out with trying to convince me the roof wasn't damaged and
what mistakes I had made as a homeowner. Of course I am not going to pay him
and let him walk away and leave me with damages to my home and property that
were not there prior to me hiring him. It was obvious he had no intention of
repairing the rest of the damages they had done. He claims there was nothing wrong
with my roof and he only repaired it because I wanted him to. Really how many
roofers would repair a roof just because the customer wanted it redone if there
really was nothing wrong? He knew what a mess they had made otherwise he would
not have replaced it. I have witnesses who saw the damages and also saw how
loud and rude he was when he came out the last time. He claims he has been here
four times. During the 1st time he came out was because when I arrived home
from work the day they had done the roof I sent him a text about the damages
and he came out to see for himself. I was very polite to him and he said he was
missing Halloween because of this. I showed him my concerns and told him to go
ahead home and be with his kids and we could set up a time for him to discuss
the repairs. He admitted he had failed and said his crew had rushed to finish
the job because it was Halloween and they all had kids. He also indicated in
his response that he repaired the roof two days later, the 1st roof was done
October 29th and the 2nd was done November 5th.He came out after his
vacation wanting me to pay him and I ask about the remaining repairs and he
kept going back to trying to convince me the roofing job wasn’t as bad as he
thought. He then started telling me we needed to discuss what I as a homeowner
had done wrong. When I told him the only thing I did wrong was hire him he
became hostile and his face got really red and he jumped up and left. At this
point I am not going to continue with his dishonest attempt to say he did
nothing wrong. I have sent the pictures and have tried getting estimates with
no help from him. I can see he has no intention of doing the repairs and as
indicated before I will get the repairs done and it will be deducted from his
money. I have no problem paying once the repairs are made and unfortunately he
thinks by just repairing the damage to my roof by his hired crew everything is
done. It is not. Why should I have to pay to repair and replace damages that
his crew made?
