Superior Motor Cars Inc Reviews (14)

The advertised vehicle has sport package but is not a sport line. The vehicle is advertised correctly and if this window shopperr does not like that he does not have to purchase a vehicle from us or do business with us. Said customer has not even come in to view car. Don't like what you see don't...

buy it. But until you come view it In person don't try and teach us how to do business. We have been selling ferraris and Maseratis for over 12 years. Don't envy our practice.

The Vehicle was originally advertised on that price as we were running a winter sale. The sale was over the following day and the vehicle price was raised back to $39,500. Customers deposit was refunded after as well. Price can no longer be honored as our sale was a 1 day only sale.

Said customer had vehicle inspected by shop of his own choice, after inspection he still choose to take delivery of vehicle and was satisfied. Customer drove vehicle from NY to NC which is about 630 miles and arrived safely, which means the car was in good shape. Very possible customer caused the...

issues on the vehicle himself. Vehicle was an out of state transaction, which is considered AS-IS. Customers deposit was refunded in full. Customer also received his plates on time and his vehicle was correctly registered. 500 fee was for doc of vehicle and customer agreed to pay it he had a choice to not purchase the car and he did. Customer seems to be having buyers remorse and he signed a store policy saying all sales are final!

Dear
[redacted]
After
reviewing the...

materials forwarded by your office we submit this
response to the consumer’s complaint.
On
June [redacted] 2014,
[redacted] purchased the 2013 Mercedes C300. The customer was never shown a carfax and states that he was showed a false carfax which is simply not true. Also Carfax is open database and the customer could have ran one himself to complete his due diligence. Shortly after his
purchase [redacted] came in to voice his concern of trunk not being lined up and noises, where at that point we
explained to him that used vehicles may have previous repairs either
mechanical &/or physical , minor or major. We also assured him of
our commitment to customer service, where we try to go way beyond the
lemon law warranty for our customers. We also advised him to make an
appointment with our service team and all his concerns would be
addressed.
Superior Motor Cars regrets that [redacted] was not satisfied with the
vehicle he purchased.
Since
that point to honor our commitment of customer service we provided
[redacted] with a complimentary
loaner car which we dont usually do
while his vehicle was being serviced by our team.. The issues were corrected and his concerns have
been addressed and completed and [redacted] has picked up his car. Keep in mind [redacted] had also visually inspected the vehicle prior to purchasing it so he was fully aware of what he was buying. [redacted] also signed a bill of sale which shows that the vehicle had prior damage to the rear and was repaired. He was not falsified any info, and we can not refund the vehicle as he was aware of his purchase.

That bill or sale documents was never sign by me I would not purchase a vehicle if I know it has structural/ frame damages. I never saw that document much less signing it. I was told that the car had a clean title an had not been in a accident an I was shown a clean car fax report. The day I purchase the car was not the day I left with it, the only document I have is the buyers order from superior motor car inc. superior motor inc took pictures while I was signing all documents. I request that they send the picture of me signing that document. It's another false document. I was never satisfied with the repair that was done because up to this day water is still entering the trunk when it rains an I'm told it is a safety issue of water wetting electrical components, I also have electrical components not working because it's getting wet.The car also has a sound coming from the rear of the vehicle superior motor car ignored my complaint, so I decided to take the car to mercedes dealseship this is when I discovered the car was in a accident an the rear subframe mounts were loose. I could have got into a bad accident because of this I had mercedes fix that because superior motor car is neglecting their responsibility. I have text messages of me reaching out to them for assistance. Superior motor car did rent me a car while my car was in for repairs to the leaking trunk an the noise coming from the rear of the car. Nothing is fixed from the fist day I got the car I've been complaining to superior motor car. Mercedes voided my warranty because of the nature of the accident. I want a full refund an ill return the car to superior motor car inc because the car is not safe to operate and it's not in satisfactory condition. I Request once again for the picture of me signing that document he took pictures of me signing everything. I plan on taking legal action against forging my signature because I did not sign that document knowing that the car had structural/ frame damages.

Unfortunately no oral claims can be accepted if you have something in writing stating that was the warranty you were supposed to receive please submit it below. For now I have attached a copy of the warranty that I have on file for customer that was purchased. Out of goodwill I have reached out to...

the warranty to see if they can extend it an additional year however no guarantees. I am waiting for the rep to get back to me. Also the warranty is non refundable or cancel-able as we already attempted that route.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

The only remorse I have is ever dealing with Superior Motors.  I contacted them many times about the brake issues and they assured me 2 of my independent shops were wrong.    The car needed an oil change, new brakes, and a catalytic converter.  Therefore it was not in "good shape" as they stated.  All issues were brought up before purchase or directly after, could not have been caused by me.    Tracking for the plates puts it at my house on July [redacted].  The temporary tags expired July [redacted].  They lied yet again saying it was there on time.  Their "$500 doc fee" was explained to me as a penalty for not financing through their lenders nor buying an extra warranty through their people.  Never once was this a "doc fee".  They had an angry conversation with a local dealership while I was there about why they charge a rebate fee for using their lenders, and that this is a normal business practice.  Part of their store policy states "For all repairs, Purchase/Lesser personally must contact Superior Motor Car inc."  I did this and they refused to even consider that the brakes were an issue as I had 2 separate shops confirm. Overall, poor customer service, telling me one story and all other parties another story, ignoring the issues I brought up before and after purchase, and trying to cover up their tracks.  I have been forced to pay for their deceit and lies.  I hope there is some form of justice because I am not the first customer of theirs to explain these same issues.  There are other complaints with the Revdex.com showing the same issues.

Comments were not written after the fact, impossible. If thats the case show us your copy. Second the car was 17895 before lender fees which get incorporated into the selling price. totaling 19625. There is no case here. Also read store policy. No case here.

You should see it in the system within a week everything was mailed to warranty company. Here is copy of new contract

Review: Merchant published pricing on Car Gurus and their website deceptive pricing. 2013 Porsche Cayenne stock #[redacted] is listed on these sites as $34, 895. I called twice to ask about the vehicle and the price was confirmed. I put a deposit on the car and hires a 3rd party ($179) to inspect the car prior to purchase (I am in Renton, WA). When Michael, the sales person was taking my deposit I asked if this was the best price, Michael explained that if I were to finance the car I he could reduce the vehicle by $1000.00. I explained I was going to pay cash. He took the deposit and told me that the buyers order would be sent. Two days later I received the buyers order from Nick B[redacted]. The buyers order for the vehicle had a price of $39,500 for stock #[redacted]. I emailed Nick to let him know he put the wrong price on the car and did not reduce the price by $500.00 for the deposit. I immediately received a call from Michael stating they would reduce the price by $500.00, I asked about the sales price., he handed the phone to Nick who explained that is the price for the car as I did not buy an extended warranty or finance the car, They tacked on the fees that they would be losing. He also explained that if I were to in-house finance the vehicle and sign a document that I will not pay off the car for six months then I could get the car at the advertised rate. This is completely deceptive and out right fraud. At no time was this explained and I reviewed the website with no stipulations on the listed price.Desired Settlement: 1. They should be forced to honor the posted price (I have screen shots).

2. They should have to remove all fraudulent pricing

3. They need to explain upfront that there are contingencies if their are for a particular listing.

4. They should have to pay the $179 that I paid to have the car inspected as I planned to purchase this vehicle based on the pricing and lack of disclosure from Michael when he took my deposit.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

This response is false and inaccurate I have proof that this is a lie. I have an open file / complaint with the attorney general of NY. I have cut & pasted the email response to the AG today: I have attached all correspondence that shows the deceit from Superior Motors. Complaint with AG #[redacted]

?

Thank you for taking time from your busy day to speak with me. I have attached additional information in regards to the issue with Superior Motor Cars, Inc. I am going to try to explain very clearly the events that transpired in chronological order. · Found 2013 on Car Gurus, contacted dealer through Car Gurus requesting contact.· Was contacted by Michael in regards to the 2013 Porsche Cayenne· Talked to Michael and gave my CC over the phone for a $500.00 deposit to hold the 2013 Porsche Cayenne. Asked if the deposit was refundable and was assured. Was told that the sales price would reflect the deposit. At no time was I told by Michael that the price had contingencies. Michael explained that is boss had to run the CC and would be EOD.· Same day I gave my CC # to Michael I also hired an inspector to go to the lot and inspect the car that I had put a deposit on (03/**/2016)· I called Michael on the [redacted] to ask why the deposit was not taken, I was told not to worry that Nick B would be running the card later that day. I was told by Michael that his boss would send me a Buyers order to review and sign. No mention of any contingencies of price of the Porsche. · 5:54 EST 03/**/2016 Nick B ran the CC for the $500.00 deposit.· Later that day I received the Buyers Order from Nick B., initially I only noticed that the $500.00 deposit had not been deducted from the sales price of the car, I sent an email requesting that the price be changed to reflect the deposit and that I should be paying WA stat tax not NY state tax. Immediately I noticed that the sales price of the vehicle had been increased to $39,500.00 from the posted and advertised price of $34,895. I immediately sent an email that there was an error in the price, that there was not even a vehicle on the lot at that price and to change the pricing so we could move forward.· I immediately received a call from Michael, I told him the price is wrong and he immediately handed the phone to Nick B, Nick then explained that the pricing on the site and on Car Gurus was only if I purchased an extended warranty and financed the vehicle through them. Nick said he cannot lose money on the car, that if I were to agree to finance the vehicle through their in house financing (not my own bank) and agree to sign a document that I will not pay the vehicle off for 6 months that he would then sell me the car for the advertised price. Nick explained that the industry was competitive and he cannot lose money by selling me the car for the stated price. At no time was the inflated price discussed or any contingency of pricing explained. I told him I had to discuss this with my wife.· First thing in the morning around 6:30 AM I sent an email to Nick B requesting that they return of my deposit via CC refund. I had to send a second request.· Received an email from Michael with a link the vehicle with the ‘correct’ price, stated that I was disappointed with them and glad to hear that they would be more upfront with future buyers. Attached are the screen shots pulled from both Car Gurus and their own site the day before I sent this complaint to the AG’s office. The response that they gave you stating this was a one day sale was incorrect as I have the images and well as emails proving that over days almost a week these prices were not changed. They should have to honor the price stated in their advertisements. I have also made a complaint to the Revdex.com and to Car Gurus explaining their behavior. [redacted]

I am extremely satisfied with my car purchase. I purchased a Range Rover that was in perfect condition and very well priced. I had a very positive experience and would recommend Nick to any of my family and friends. He was a pleasure to work with and very honest. He was very sharp and on top of the sale. He got everything done for me very smoothly. He proved to me that not all car dealers are the same. Thank you Nick!

Purchased a beautiful 2014 BMW 550XI M from Mike at Superior and Nick the finance manager handled my Loan for me. I got a fair price for a pretty sweet car that was super clean and so far it's been 2 months and I have had no issues with the car. Nick got me a great rate on my loan and got me right where I needed to be for an affordable payment. I was promised 2 new tires which I had to come back for 2 weeks down the line, but it was all good, they honored what they promised me. Overall I am very happy and will refer my friends. Their facility is not like your traditional dealers but all there processes were very professional. Definitely a nice experience and I got a way better deal than buying elsewhere as I did shop around for close to 3 weeks.
