Great service! Love our new paint job on the exterior of our house!

Company did not complete any work on the contract we signed.
They moved the completion date from May 15th to 17th. We approved this.
They guaranteed they would be complete on the 17th.
On the 17th they informed us they would be billing us almost double than the agreed upon amount in the contract in order to complete the work.
We told them to leave the property.

NO line item on the contract was completed.
Personal property was damaged.
Company ran our credit card (the card we used to make a deposit) without completing the work and without authorization from us. We never agreed that we would be paying the balance with this card. We never authorixed them to save it

Desired Outcome

Refund DEPOSIT: Date: May 7, 2019, Amount: $1,476.58 ADDITIONAL CHARGES: Date: May 17, 2019, Amount: $5,000.00 Date: May 17, 2019, Amount: $906.32 We believe we should receive a full refund as none of the work was finished on the contract and we incurred additional expenses due to their neglegence. We stayed in a hotel and had to hold our property in moving vehicles until we could properly clean up their mess. We will now have to hire another contractor to complete the job.

We are very sorry the *** had a bad experience with us. Rest assured there was no fraudulent charges on their credit card. We work with a secured third party company that sends out emails to get electronic signatures to authorize credit card payments (see attached document). We have emailed the copy that was signed authorizing their credit card to be charged. We as a company are always striving to be better and will do anything to ensure our customers have a good experience. Unfortunately in this case when there is inappropriate language and threats our workers safety comes first. The *** agreed to pay for the extra work they wanted done. Once it was completed they held us hostage saying they wanted the extra work to be included in the original price that is all they were going to pay. ( see attached text from *** Attached also is all invoices and receipts Superior Pros paid to do the *** job.

We never threatened harm to anyone. I have attached the correspondence between myself and the supervisor who was in home doing the work. This is deformation of character.

The owner said that we were "threatening" him when we said we were contacting a lawyer. This email is attached as well.

We never received an email regarding to saving our card on file. We never received an email regarding billing our card for a job that was not completed. We would like to receive a copy of this email.

This is truly upsetting that the owner of Superior Paint Pros has zero concern for how they left our new home. We left our home entirely in this businesses care as we were 5 hours away from the home the entire time they were working. That on top of it all he is willing to accuse us of threatening safety/harm on the men working in our home. His response states he is "sorry" that it turned out like this but never was has he acknowledged that he did not complete our contract and yet he believes he is owed the full amount. My family is honest and hard working and we do not deserve to be taken advantage of.

Attached is the text message from *** requesting us to leave the property. This was after a very threatening phone call I had received from him and his wife. We cleaned up as much as possible in the short period of time we had and sent pictures to the *** to assure that it was left in good condition. Superior Pros has a excellent reputation and we strive hard to provide the best customer service and quality of work. Both myself and our project manager tried to resolve the issues with the *** but it ended when the safety of our workers is at stake. Our company works with a third party company that handles all our credit card charges. We as a company cannot charge a customers credit card without this third party company having the authorization on file from the customer. All of this documentation has been forwarded to the Hussmans credit card company. I am also still waiting to hear from the *** attorney..
