Superior Roofing Renovations

On Sept. 2nd 2019 I contracted Mr. Jimmy Young of Superior Roofing & renovations to replace the shingles on my patio cover at rear of house. The job was for $1500. He wanted half up front. Paid $500 on that day and $250 on the 4th. Since then no work has been done. I have sent numerous emails to him and all I get back is promises that he will be here. The reason I called Mr. Young was that he had done work for me a couple of years before. I had no reason to think that he would not follow through. Further more, I don't think he is residing at the *** address anymore. But that is the address that is on his business card. His email is still the same. I have warned him that I would be taking this action, but there has been no response. I have also told him that I would be reporting the matter to the authorities.

On Sept 7th 2019, Jimmy Young gave me an estimate of $550.00 to replace a kitchen window. He requested $350.00 deposit. We wrote a note and he signed it. Because he has done some work for me 3 years ago I had no reason to predict what was coming. Since Sept. 7 , I never saw him again. I contacted him on text message every week to see what was happening. He always promises to be here a certain day but he never shows up. Not even a text to let me know. I asked him for my money back but he told me he purchased the window. I asked him to let me know where the window was as I was willing to go an pick it up so that at least I would have my window. After that text, he stopped replying. The number I have to text him is also different than what I have : 1-289-975-1491. I have copies of all our conversations. On November 7th, I emailed him to again try to get the issue solved in a friendly manner but no answer.

He has moved since then and the address is not good anymore. He has a new business card on *** but no longer uses an address. You can only contact him through email or text. This way we can not find him. He also advertises on *** and I let them know of what happened.

Unfortunately googling his name now I see that I am not the only one he did this to. He takes the money and you never see him again.
