Poor service
My lawn is almost dead. Repeated pleas for help has gone unanswered. Plus I found out through further research this company does not cover dry wood termites that swarm through this area of Florida twice yearly.

Poor Lawn maintenance Service
Superior Services has provided lawn fertilizer and pest control service. Although they have come out at least three times, if not more, to treat my lawn for weeds and bare spots, my lawn still looks terrible. So I've decided to change to a different company.

To add insult to injury, Superior Services has refused to refund the unused portion of what I paid them.

I would not recommend them to anyone.

Thank you for the opportunity to address your concerns. As per our agreement signed by the client and the representative of Superior Services, it states "This agreement is made for a minimum period of 12 months beginning on November 13, 2018." We have provided treatments and services as described on the agreement. At times there are conditions beyond our control that cause issues within a lawn. We have no control over the clients watering schedule, mowing practices and other products that the client has possibly used on their property while it is under our care. To date we have fulfilled our commitment as stated in the agreement. We stand ready to be part of the solution and continue to work with our client to solve any concerns through our service agreement year. We are also willing to convert any unused portion of the clients lawn and shrub services to the pest control portion in the best interest of customer services. The agreement does not have a provision for a monetary refund. Please see the attached agreement.

Superior Service is trying to rationalize poor performance. Without a doubt, I've watered and mowed properly. It speaks to the poor character of the company by not refunding the unused portion of my expense.

For the record, I'd like anyone looking them up on Revdex.com to know that I, for one, view their service as being very poor.

Note: I'm already seeing the weeds dying from the service of the replacing company.

We have spoken with the client and offered to extend their pest control portion of our agreement until March 2020 in lieu of his lawn and shrub services. The client felt we are incompetent with our treatments of his lawn and even though he has had no service calls on our pest control services he did not except our offer. Again our agreement does not offer a monetary refund, but we stand ready to continue pest control on his home. Please see attached photos of his current lawn conditions. As you can see from the pictures taken on July 16th, the lawn is in very good condition and is always a work in progress. Unfortunately the client is not willing to allow us to work on his concerns with his lawn or converting services for him.

The original agreement for start of service states we had 3 days to change our minds and now they are using the same for 7 years later.
The agreement for service stated we had 3 days to change our minds at the start of service but 7 years later we have been having poor service and our lawn has gotten much worse. We should not had renewed the agreement on 6-19-17 for the following year but we did because we had no one else. Now we have another contractor and asked for a refund on the remaining months but were denied. The next service year started in July 2017 and our last treatment was on 9-26-17. We notified Superior that their services were no longer needed and requested a refund for the balance of the year but they say no. We feel this is very unfair because the renewal card does not say anything about a 3 day cancellation notice. We did not have a copy of the original agreement until I requested one from them which they sent via the mail.

Desired Outcome

We would like a billing adjustment for the remaining year amounting to 10 months of service. The yearly agreement is $575.00 for 12 months therefore a refund of $479.00 is being requested as resolution to this problem.

We have stayed consistent in our agreement with our client year after year for the past seven plus years. Our agreement is for a one full year commitment and we offer a yearly renewal. When our client renews the services we commit to another year of service.

We have provided service for our clients monthly as stated in our agreement. We continue to stand ready to fulfill our agreement and continue services on the property. We have spoken with them and informed them that we will be placing their services on hold and they will have the remaining 9 months of service available if and when they choose to do so. We are also willing to convert the remaining months that were put on hold to one of our other services if they choose to do so.

Our agreement clearly states this agreement is made for a minimum period of 12 Months. When the renewal is completed yearly we are entering into the same agreement for the next full year. We stand ready to service our client.

We were told that they would hold our monies for the balance of the year for lawn or other services but over the past 2 years our lawn has been treated by different technicians, we have been visited by supervisors, and yet the lawn continued to deteriorate. We were told that things will turn around but they have not and have gotten worse so why would we continue to have them service the area. We did not have anyone else before to choose from that was reliable so we stuck it out with Superior. They in our opinion have not held up their end of the agreement therefore they should return the 9 months balance remaining. There are no other services we are in need of.

We do not accept their response because they have no services we would be interested in using. That means that they are not willing to return any unused months of prepaid services. The original agreement signed was in our opinion for the first year and we did not have a copy of the original agreement until I requested one which we had received when we started this process. If it is their policy to renew the same contract yearly, then they should present a newly signed contract each year stating such. After the first year, the following years renewal was most often done over the phone or via a post card.

To us they have provided shabby services in the last two years. We should have gone with someone else before but we were told that they would turn the lawn around but it only got worse. So we were gullible in taking their advice.
