I want to let people know what kind of joke this business is. This is the 3rd time now in the past few years that I've had problems with them. I will NEVER do business with them again, nor will family, friends and relatives.
I went in there 6/11/15 inquiring about a handgun and if they can match a price from another business. The initial people gave me the basic info, but they had to bring [redacted] in to check.
I hold a license in MN and WI and have legally purchased firearms in both states for many years now. I also hold permit to carry permits in both states as well. ([redacted] argued with me that the card I have is not a permit, and debated with me that even thou it says permit on it, it's not a permit) [redacted] goes on to argue with me about how I can't have the ability to buy a firearm in both states, it has to be one or the other. I said that is not the case, that I have purchased from their store and elsewhere over the years. She continued to argue with me telling me that it wasn't possible. I was ready to purchase this weapon if they could match the price I was quoted elsewhere. [redacted] continually debated the fact that it was not possible for me to do this. She said she wasn't going to argue with me about it. I said that's fine, I just go elsewhere and give them my business and $$
Due to [redacted] incompetence or arrogance, not only did she lose the $1100+ sale of the firearm, additional accessories and ammo would have been purchased as well. I had been planning on purchasing a gun safe as well. Between $600-$1000 I was willing to spend. I like to keep my business local if at all possible, as that's what most people hope for and appreciate.
Why would you argue and debate a fact that you have no knowledge of? Why would you tell me that it can't be done when in fact it has been done multiple times? The statement, "the customer is always right" is not something I completely agree with, but in this case that is 110% the truth! I am right and know because I'm the one that has the facts behind me.
So her idiocy has cost her over $2000+ in a my business and I have been and will continue to pass along this info to EVERYONE possible. There is a reason their place is a small, poorly run operation. It's simply because of incompetence and the fact that you don't argue with customers on situations that you are beyond incorrect about!
I would advise anyone not to do business with them due to the fact of this being my 3rd problem with them in the past 5 years. I have filed a complaint against them before on a different matter, but the problem was with the same individual.
Do not do business with these mns!
