Horrible company
I got sucked into allowing a sales person to come and do his dog and pony show to prove how bad my water was.
I foolishly bought into the whole scam and spent over $6000 a system that another company said they would have installed for $2500.
The first year maintenance charge was $200 to change the RO filters and do quick check of the water softener.In total took 30 minutes at best.
The system is only a year and. half lld and now I am going ton be stuck with another expensive service call.
Now I am having a problem with the RO system constantly draining, and apparently the warranty doesn't cover the "Service charge" which will be $110... What a scam.
By the way, I just sold my home, so I suppose the new owners will have to deal with this nightmare.They will have to buy an expensive, useless warranty now too apparently .
Steer clear of this company, they suck.

Superior Water has a 10 year warranty for the "original purchaser" of the well water system that the 2nd owner has in his home. He has the option to purchase an "extended new warranty" if he chooses. All of our service calls require a fee for plumber visits. He chose not to pay for his plumber... service call. Any parts needing replacement will be under the new warranty. Just like a Sears warranty, if you buy a washing machine and have a warranty on that unit, and the original owner sells the home with the washer in it, Sears will not warranty 2nd, 3rd time owners of that machine. A new warranty is required.

A simple as the process of setting up my water boy 7000, for many of us it is not so simpleit is reassuring that this company (***) was patient in describing the process and able to help me again as I had a garage door opener put in and the electric was off for a whilehe said there is a memory chip to safeguard this and now I knowthanks for the help ***!!!

I can't go much lower than one star.
The unit was expensive, the water tastes terrible, we have bad odors coming from the first streams of water in each faucet.
There's more corrosion around all my faucets than ever before.
What a dud.

Just like a Sears warranty, if you buy a washing machine and have a warranty on that unit, and the original owner sells the home with the washer in it, Sears will not warranty 2nd, 3rd time owners of that machine. A new warranty is required.

"SuperiorTechnology' in The Ultimate Water System

Since our previous system worked so well, I decided to go with the new (better technology) system. After several months, I started seeing a build up of gunk around several of our sink drains and spouts and on the ice tray in the fridge. I took pictures and emailed them to Superior Water. The Owner, [redacted], called and told me there was nothing wrong with the unit. He said the problem was that my water was too hard and the unit couldn't handle it and that I would need to have a water softener installed (at his cost) for $695. He said they would install it and I could wait two weeks to see if it resolved the build up before I was billed. I couldn't understand why the 'new and improved' unit couldn't do what the old unit did. He gave me a run around and at that point I felt like I was pretty much at his mercy. The old unit was gone, I didn't want the gunk in my water, so my only choice seemed to be to buy the water softener. [redacted] came out to install it on January 29th. The unit was too big for the water closet and I expressed my extreme frustration with what was going on. [redacted] said they could just put a Hydrocare unit on the pipe. I asked him what that cost and he waved his hand at me (which I took to mean it wouldn't cost anything) and said the unit is supposed to work. [redacted] came out and installed it on February 11th. This is all going on while I am also dealing with taking care of my terminally ill husband. On February 19th, my husband passed away. On the very same day, I get a bill from Superior Water for the Hydrocare for $495. I had no idea it was going to cost me anything. On February 28th, I called Superior Water and spoke to Katie. I told her my husband had passed away and that I couldn't find the bill they had sent and I questioned why it was costing me anything. She said I would have to speak to Elaine. Katie told me she would explain the situation to Elaine and she would transfer me to Elaine's voicemail and I should leave her a message to call me, which I did. I never received a call back. Instead, on March 6th, a letter came addressed to my husband with a new bill inside for the $495. Not only do I find this to be poor customer service, I found it extremely insensitive. So, now I paid $1995 to upgrade to "The Ultimate Water System" that won't do the job it says it's suppose to do unless I either install a Hydrocare unit for $495 or a water softener for $695.Desired Settlement: I don't think I should have to pay anything to get the system to do what it claims to do. If it doesn't work properly without one of the two other components, it should have been explained upfront or it shouldn't cost anything. Nobody said I'll sell you this new and Improved system, but it might not do what it's suppose to do if your water is too hard. And, if your water is too hard, it's going to cost you $495-$695 to get it to work right.

Review: Approximately 2 yrs ago I bought a property that had the water boy system installed. The water smelled terrible. I called customer service and was told it wasn't a failure of the system but the water must not have been used for an extended period of time and was given instructions to run all old water out of the pipes and it would be fine. It wasn't. I was told that since the unit was only 1 year old that they would honor the original warranty. The water improved some but never to my drinking and cooking satisfaction. I have had to buy my drinking water ever since. We get residue and rust stains everywhere the water contacts. Because of the run around I received I avoided another call to superior.

Recently I noticed that one of the screws holding an electrical contact had rusted off and it seemed like the system was back flushing much too often. I called and was connected with a rep who walked me through a resetting procedure that didn't work. He said the circuit board was likely bad and a service call would be done at no charge since it was no fault of mine.but this was Friday and could it wait until Monday to schedule. Mid day Monday I finally got the call and was told it would take a week and half to get here and a service charge would be charged. The system has a 10 yr warranty but now they are not honoring it stating it is no longer valid. The unit is in the same location it was originally installed and has never been moved.Desired Settlement: Repair the faulty equipment and honor the warranty.
