This doctor claims to offer a "free consultation" specifically for knee pain on his online ads for first visits. Come to find out, HE CHARGES YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY on that first visit so in actuality it is NOT A FREE CONSULTATION whatsoever. Furthermore, the *** advertisements showed laser technology (which have supposedly been taken down) but are very much NOT OFFERED at the facility and when you call the number on the online ad, you're not even put through to someone in their office but a remote marketing team making money for booking this initial consultation! When I challenged this doctor he said "well there is no out of pocket cost to YOU". However, billing my insurance company without my knowledge DOES cost me if I only have a limited number of "specialist" visits covered by them! THIS LACKS TRANSPARENCY AND IS DECEITFUL, IT IS MANIPULATIVE AND WRONG. He could verify my insurance over the phone in a matter of minutes providing I got through to their actual office when I called. For example, my dermatologist and doctors were all able to verify whether they accepted my insurance and what my copay was over the phone. They did not ask me into the office to go over information I could have provided at an actual appointment where I am actually treated just to send me on my way UNTREATED and disguise it as a FREE CONSULTATION but then bill my insurance. THIS IS NOT RIGHT AND LACKS INTEGRITY. Very shady practitioner- steer clear!!!

This complaint was filed by a former employee who was fired on 7/23/2019. Her dates of employment were 01/02/2019 through 7/23/2019. She filed the complaint with Revdex.com two days after being fired. The employee was discharged because she had created a communication channel with all other employees (except the clinic owner) where she was disrespectful, leud, and openly insubordinate. The incident that caused discharge was a comment she made about drinking champagne in the office while the owner was out of the office. Consumption of alcohol on company property is against company policy, both written and verbal. While it is unclear if the employee followed through on those actions, the comments alone warrant immediate discharge. The complainant also used this communication channel to brag about getting patients to reschedule their appointments unnecessarily so that she could leave early. The fact that she filed a complaint with Revdex.com just two days after being fired for these offenses is almost comical. But what makes it worse is the nature of the complaint that she filed is utterly unfounded. Part of the complainant's job was to communicate with potential patients. If she truly had a concern about advertising or transparency, certainly she would have communicated that with the potential patients she was speaking to throughout her 7 months of employment. I feel that it is very clear that this complaint is the result of a former employee who is upset that she was fired, and acting out in a very immature way. I have attached documentation of a few of the inappropriate messages she sent via Slack. If you have any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to reach out to me personally.

I am rejecting this response because: while I was in fact employed with this company and was in fact let go a week ago, in regards to the attached slack messages, he himself was part of the same slack messages that he (conveniently) did not have attached regarding "needing a drink" due to frustrations with patients. Beyond that, it is grotesque that he would strategically attempt to use this as a way to negate my review as he and my coworkers were very aware that I was not a consumer of alcoholic beverages nor was that a part of my life. Some call it "straight-edge". (No alcohol, no sex, no drugs, etc.) Thus, I was contributing to part of the joke that was made. In light of my employment and slack messages being addressed, I'd like to share that there WERE slack messages he WAS offended by that were privately shared with my coworkers regarding Dan and his lack of leadership, integrity and transparency. An example would be his seeking to read said messages upon discovering a private channel he was not part of by swapping my computer monitor for another without my consent yet claiming he was trying to help me. Or posting my job after finding my resume on the front desk one weekend. I actually got phone calls for my position and when I confronted him, he said a friend had told him to post all positions yet come to find out, among my coworkers mine was the only one posted.I believe his feelings were hurt in regards to those slack messages regarding my comments about his deceit and lack of integrity and he knew he did not have my respect and THAT is why I was let go. And my lack of respect comes from this lack of transparency, begin questioned about it and then the strategy of manipulation (ie negating my review because I'm a drinker when my coworkers and former employees can vouch that this has not been a part of my life). But all this aside, "the proof is in the pudding", as they say. Look for "free knee consultation" on ***. Click on the ad and schedule the "free consultation" with Superior Healthcare. Better yet, call *** and schedule one. He did in fact leave his number, then go in for that "free consultation", give your insurance information (why do you need to do so if it's free, right? Asked every patient that came in for this) and then discover the bill your insurance mails showing what they covered! Again, probably not a big deal for those of us who are healthy- as long as it's not out of pocket cost to us right? But for people who only have a limited number of visits to see specialists, to waste one on a consultation where the patient does not find relief is not right! This isn't free. It costs them a visit with a physical therapist that could really benefit them! Thank you for your time and help in this matter. It's important, especially in this day and age, for people to be given full transparency and to contribute to a business that also pursues that.

Sincerely
