Manager buys things for himself and sells them on the side. Went in on monday. There was a cannondale raven marked at 169. Asked to make offer. They were busy. Left after a half hour. Went back the next morning,first thing. The price tag had been removed. When I went in to make an offer the manager said, oh you want to buy my bike? Well its now 600 or 700. It had flat tires a broken brake an blown forks. I showed the manager this and he said his friend could fix all the superficial things. I said u still wanted to make an offer an said I point blank" you can't buy my bike". Even though it was still on the rack with the item code sticker. It can't be legal for an employee of a pawn shop to buy items and sell them for profit on the side.Desired SettlementI want to be able to buy the bike for the advertised price of 169. Which was on there.I also want all superpawnz investigated for fraud among the managers.Business Response Dear [redacted]:I am in receipt of your letter forwarding [redacted] complaint. The bike that [redacted] is referring to was pawned by a customer that defaulted on the loan. Therefore, the bike was out for sale. The original owner of the bike conducted a buy back on his bike and it and as a result it was no longer available for purchase. I called the number prior to going in to the store to see if they buy or loan ps3s. The woman six yes they do and she said price varies. So I said perfect I'll come in. My 2 friends [redacted] and [redacted] any with me. I asked the lady helping me about dell or loan and started pulling the console out of my bag. She put her hands up and said they have over 60 of them and we won't take It. We than stated we called and they said they do. [redacted] and another woman was there. They said "I didn't get a call did you get a calL. They both said no." So we left. My friend went outside and called the super pawn again. And He asked I have a ps3 and I want to come in. The lady said it starts at 25 and goes up from there. Bring in the playstatiom, cords and controllers. My friend hung up and calls back and says what's your name I am the one bringing the ps3. The woman on the phone said [redacted]. So we walk back in and the woman didn't help us for several minutes while whispered in the back. We went to [redacted] and AKsked her if she was [redacted] and she said she is. We asked her why she didn't want to say she took the call and denied us earlier but I come back after calling and you say you won't take it. She said she doesn't need ti buy it from us bc we wouldn't pay the money to get it back. And we are wasting her time and she is wasting outrs... I never told her that I wasn't going to buy it back. She made me look like I don't have money to work with their service, that's rude!!Not acceptable because she did not want to deal with the us.Product_Or_Service: loanDesired SettlementBe honest with people. Find a compensation for denying me service by sight. And lying to me and my friends about the services. I want [redacted] and said coworker getting repeemande for the issueBusiness Response On this day, the 3 customers came in and wanted to sell their game system. The assistant manager [redacted] told them we were not purchasing any systems at the time because we were currently selling them very cheap because we had too many. They said they called and spoke to someone but couldn't say who and it was only myself ([redacted]) and [redacted] there. She apologized and although they were upset, they left. They went outside the store and called, I answered and they asked if we do loans on systems. I said we do. Then they hung up and called back immediately asking if we were the downtown loacation. I said yes. Then they came back in asking to speak to me. I told them I would not do a loan on their system because they were originally interested in selling the system and at that point, if we wouldn't purchase the item, we wouldn't write a bad loan on it because we would end up owning the item when we weren't originally interested in it. The gentlemen who was with them was upset and said that I was wasting their time. I apologized that I couldn't help them out and they said some vulgar things as they left the store.
