Suprema has charged my wife 2 late fees of $65 each for a total of $130 for payments that were the fault of the realtor. Payment for rent was sent from the same Post Office in the county at the same time each month. The realtor then moved there location and also was setting up a online payment.I understand about moving businesses due to I have done the same thing. The realtor claimed they didn't receive the payment in time which I don't believe is the problem. It was there somewhere during the moving and setting up there new online payment which we tried but was unsuccessful.One month when they claimed to have received a late payment, it was over a week before it hit my bank from when they posted it received. I have sent the last 2 payments certified so I could track the payment. Both times it was there the next day. After talking with post office officials, they claim that any mail sent out in the county takes 1 day. This was confirmed by the certified mail. This was very unprofessional for this realtor company to take advantage of my wife. We didn't receive a return phone call. We received the payment three days later on the 12th, and it was deposited on the 13th. The system shows that an automated email regarding the payment was sent on the 6th of September, at which time the late fee was charged to the account. It is our understanding that the consumer feels the late fee was generated during the time our business relocated; however, the business did not relocate until September 30, 2013.In October 2013, our system did charge the consumer's account a late fee. Our company felt that due to the move it was possible there could have been a mix-up with the mail, so the late fee was removed. The consumer was made aware at that time of the new address.In November 2013, our system generated another late fee due to the outstanding balance on the account, which was the late fee from September 2013. This late fee was waived as well.On December 9, 2013 our office received an email from our system that stated the payment made by the consumer on December 3, 2013 was returned due to "Account is closed or doesn't match name submitted." At this time, a late fee was added to the account. We contacted the agency that manages the payment system and they informed us that the consumer incorrectly inputted his/her info and the system was unable to identify the consumer through the information supplied. Hence, no payment entered the system in a timely fashion for the month of December, bringing the total in late fees to $130.00.
