I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I am not satisfied with this responseThe sales tax was naturally reduced when the dollar credit was applied because we spent $dollars less at their storeWe were originally credited because the flooring was late being deliveredSecondly, the installation was originally scheduled to be between 9:00/A.mAt 9:the installers called to tell us they would not be arriving until later in the day because it was more convenient to their scheduleHe said he wanted to start farther from home and work his way back towards his houseMy husband had no other choice but to take their next time slot which was for 5:that dayWe had our entire living room emptied into our kitchen and dining roomWe have two large dogs and an infant at homeIt's very difficult to live without half our living space to accommodate themWe had scheduled someone to be there to watch the house while they were thereThere wasn't another person available the rest of the week to accommodate their horrible work ethicWe made it a point to schedule this while we had the availability to be thereThey choose to not show up on time and then tried to tell us that they were doing us a favor by working "late" because installers do not work past 4p.m Doing us a favor would have been showing up on time when nobody was missing out on working, our baby wasn't trying to go to sleep listening to them pound staples into the floor and being loudDoing us a favor would have been not using out bathroom and taking their wet shoes off as they installed our brand new carpetDoing us a favor would have been brining the appropriate padding that we were told from different people would not be an issue come installation because that is a common thing for installers to carryIt also would have been nice for the installer to not try to sell us padding he has in his basement under the table to try and "solve" the problem of not getting the order right in the first placeThe carpet does look very nice and the product is greatBut we NEVER gave them an extra cent as a tipIf they overcharged us $and gave it to them as a tip I am requesting that is reimbursed alsoWe do not have a problem with the productThe customer service behind the product is what is lackingCalling a customer a liar, telling a customer that they are unable to communicate with their spouse, and then saying that nothing about their horrible customer arrive would change because the boss is her husband is absolutely unethical and absurdWhen I asked to speak to the store owner her reply was "Good luck with that sweetie, he's my husband" The actions of this company have been nothing short of reprehensibleRequesting the installation fee back along with the reimbursement of the time my husband lost at work seems like a very small amount considering the time and stress that has gone into a very simple carpet installationRegards, [redacted] ***

Carpet is willing to refund a additional $to make this customer satisfied in which the total refund will be $ I( placed a call and left a message for customer to call store with cc numbers.Leah A***AsstVP

Mrs. [redacted] was refunded a $100 for the inconvenience. Husband was fully aware of Laminate delivery and install times with agreeance. verbal response from them: We also did not charge her any sales tax due to her additional call complaining about that. She did tip the installation men $50 for the wonderful job.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.  I am not satisfied with this response. The sales tax was naturally reduced when the 100 dollar credit was applied because we spent $100 dollars less at their store. We were originally credited because the flooring was late being delivered. Secondly, the installation was originally scheduled to be between 9:00/10 A.m. At 9:15 the installers called to tell us they would not be arriving until later in the day because it was more  convenient to their schedule. He said he wanted to start farther from home and work his way back towards his house. My husband had no other choice but to take their next time slot which was for 5:30 that day. We had our entire living room emptied into our kitchen and dining room. We have two large dogs and an infant at home. It's very difficult to live without half our living space to accommodate them. We had scheduled someone to be there to watch the house while they were there. There wasn't another person available the rest of the week to accommodate their horrible work ethic. We made it a point to schedule  this while we had the availability to be there. They choose to not show up on time and then tried to tell us that they were doing us a favor by working "late" because installers do not work past 4p.m.  Doing us a favor would have been showing up on time when nobody was missing out on working, our baby wasn't trying to go to sleep listening to them pound staples into the floor and being loud. It also would have been nice for the installer to not try to sell us padding he has in his basement under the table to try and "solve" the problem of not getting the order right in the first place. The carpet does look very nice and the product is great. But we NEVER gave them an extra cent as a tip. If they overcharged us $50.00 and gave it to them as a tip I am requesting that is reimbursed also. We do not have a problem with the product. The customer service behind the product is what is lacking. Calling a customer a liar, telling a customer that they are unable to communicate with their spouse, and then saying that nothing about their horrible customer arrive would change because the boss is her husband is absolutely unethical and absurd. When I asked to speak to the store owner her reply was "Good luck with that sweetie, he's my husband".  The actions of this company have been nothing short of reprehensible. Requesting the installation fee back along with the reimbursement of the time my husband lost at work seems like a very small amount considering the time and stress that has gone into a very simple carpet installation.
