Supreme Builders required me to make 2 months deposit totaling over $1,685.00. They then sent me a notice that my lease will not be renewed, but did not give me a reason. After telling me I had to vacate by August 31, 2014 they then sent me a 5 day notice to leave. I moved out on August 15, 2014. I cleaned my apartment thoroughly, took pictures and videoed. I had to continually called them about my security deposit being returned to me, They told me I was not getting anything that I owe them. I was not behind on my rent, and kept my apartment clean at all times. Whenever I called with a complaint it was never addressed. I had to deal with smelling drugs, loud music, children running up and down the stairs, lights in the hallway being changed during or out doing the Christmas and New Years holiday, bed bugs, and there was never ever an exterminator to come out during the whole 4 years I rented there. They told me it was not required. When I called for bed bugs they wanted me to pay for the company coming out. I called for over a month and sent pictures to show them the bugs in my ceiling of my front door. It was horrible. At one time someone put something on my car. There is a sign that says "Camera in basement", I ask them if they could look at the camera and see who put garbage on my car. They told me that there is no camera in the basement it was to scare off people. This is FALSE ADVERTISING. All that time I thought I was being watch and was feeling safe because of the camera. I was told this company was money hungry by some of the workers, I guess there is no lesson learn then one earned. Never rent from money hungry companies.

I live in the Greenfield Park Apartments and haven't had any issues with the livability, cleanliness, or maintenance of the apartment as other reviewers have both on this website and elsewhere. Heating and air conditioning worked fine and were properly managed. I did notice a few bugs in late fall/early winter, but nothing beyond what I would normally expect to see at that time of year and not at infestation levels. No one entered my unit unannounced as other reviewers have complained. Snow and ice removal were adequate and timely. I've never had a broken appliance so I cannot speak on the length of maintenance requests. Beyond that, the onsite caretakers were always friendly and helpful. Although I live near smokers, I have never had an issue with smoke or smell.

Where I agree with other reviewers is in the attitude of the staff. I requested to install fiber optic cable to my unit. Although initially the staff was polite, my request was denied and as I pressured them for more details and explanation, they became difficult to work with. Many reviewers have described the staff as being "short" with the tenant, which seems to match my experience. As I spoke with the accountant I could not get a more detailed answer than they have an exclusivity contract with TWC and won't approve the fiber optic. As I pressured him for more details he seemed to become agitated and basically told me I don't need to know anything more than their answer. I was also surprised when he suggested that I move out of the complex if I can't fulfill my internet needs through TWC. He didn't inform me he would be gone over the next week, so when I called back the same day with follow up questions I was unable to reach him. Then, due to the rental agent misunderstanding my tone, I was hung up on. As other reviewers have noted, the owner will not speak directly with tenants. Overall then, I would have to agree with other reviewers that my experience with the staff has been negative. Although I understand that proper internet may not viewed as a necessary service by the owner, I would at least have expected the staff to respect the concerns of their tenants as all my previous landlords have.

This provider of rental property was excellent. The apt had many amenities not found elsewhere. The rent was fair when you take into the account comparable properties and the excellent staff and maintance. The onsite staff addressed any problems immeiately. When I moved they were very fair about any assessments or charges. The building and grounds were kept immaculate. I can't say enough good about this company.

WORST DECISION YOU COULD EVER MAKE! CHECK THE DEPARTMENT OF TRADE AND AGRICULTURE FOR COMPLAINTS AND LAWSUITS. Shady people run this shady operation. These are crappy, outdated, high-rent apartments! You are essentially just paying for lots of space and convenient temperature controlled parking. They look for reasons to discriminate against hardworking, young families and surprise you with 2x security deposit at lease-signing. For 3x security deposit, they'll let sex offender move across the hall from you and your children. I know because the sex offender's roommate told me that Supreme Builders were they only place they could rent. I rented at Central Parkway Apartments and it was a nightmare upon move-in. They had put the electric bill in my name a month prior to moving in. The apartment they showed me was not the one I was given. The one I was given had terrible carpeting all throughout the apartment; huge red stains and bleach stains. They REFUSED to replace the carpet though I complained multiple times and acted as if they did me a favor for not charging it against my security deposit when I moved out; as if I hadn't documented on the check-in sheet and talked to the owner about it.

Forget about having any issues addressed. They will send over the friendly, but mostly incompetent resident caretakers to tell you why it's your fault something isn't working properly. My apartment was uninhabitable at times during the dead of winter and the height of summer because the heating/air conditioning were inadequate at best. I was even told once by the resident caretaker that I would have to wrap my a/c in saran wrap, trash bags and duct tape in order to sleep in my bedroom during the winter because that's what she does!!! How ridiculous!! Expect nothing but lazy, nasty attitudes and lies from the office staff (the owner's family), especially [redacted]. They'll even refuse to identify themselves if you ask to know with whom you're speaking. The owner, [redacted], even does this and will conveniently, sometimes miraculously be out of town when you need to speak with him, even if you've just seen his Escalade parked outside the office.

I've never had an issue with the return of my security deposit before renting from them. They flat out made up damages and "missing items" to charge me with after they refused to do a walk-through. They lied to me about the process, who does the inspection, and about their legal responsibility to inform me of the last tenant's charges. They even lied to me about who the last tenants were to keep from showing me the charges. They told me the previous tenants were the onsite caretakers who had lived there for 6 years but had somehow managed to pay $0 against the security deposit despite all of what was wrong with the unit. However, when I spoke with the onsite caretakers, they informed me they had been the only onsite caretakers for the past 7 years. She even told me they have a totally different check-out form which lists different criteria than the ones they provide tenants.

THESE PEOPLE ARE EXTREMELY DISHONEST THIEVES. FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE DEPT OF AGRICULTURE, TRADE AND CONSUMER PROTECTION OFFICE.
