Please be advised on 11/15/19 Sure Storage wrongfully towed my vehicle from 2707 us 80, mesquite Tx XXXXX. When initially contacting them 1:41 pm I was informed the vehicle had not made it yet but it was due to two visitors passes being displayed in the window but after going into the rent office of the apartment complex the vehicle was towed from the manager advised as long as the correct pass was displayed that was not a legitimate reason to tow the vehicle after the vehicle made it to the tow yard a photo was sent advising the some papers were covering the visitor pass which was the reason the vehicle was tow contradicting the initial statement and the papers were never on top of the visitor pass they could have been shifted during the tow. I informed the tow company they should return the vehicle because the correct visitor pass was displayed and the receptionist was very rude and advised the only way to get my vehicle back was to pay $298 I informed her I was on my way to the tow yard making it not even 10 min after the call only to make it and have to wait 45 min to an hr because of a sign stating they would not return to the office until 3:15 I was charged $255 tow fee $20 storage fee $20 impound fee and $20 notification fee. I would like to be reimbursed for those amounts due to the vehicle was towed wrongfully it was not stored due to I got it back as soon as it made it tot he tow yard, it was not impounded and I was not notified by them I contacted them myself. Also not to mention the fees of this private tow company are extremely higher than the city allow for impound fees.

Desired Outcome

I am seeking reimbursement for the full $298.30 payed for this wrongful tow to avoid further legal actions against the private tow company.

Illegal tow, improper infraction, poor customer service.
Good Morning,
my inquiry is regarding a 2018 Mitsubishi Mirage that was towed from *** park apts in Irving tx 10/31/2019. I have screenshots of towing Registery, I have pictures of signs around the complex. They advised the car was towed due to head in parking only, then stated when we got there that it was towed for wrong area. They provided no pictures of the car being in wrong area for proof. We try to pay for the vehicle release and the lady at the front desk who would not release her name stated that she can't read the debit card and her policy states she has to take cash only. I ask for proof of where it states that and she stated that she does not have to prove anything and said she is not trying to lose her job. All in all the car was towed illegally, the time it took to get the vehicle out was ridiculous and I have all my documentation to prove this. I could totally understand if we came from a rude place but we simply was asking questions and documentation beats conversation. Reimbursement would be great for the tow but the pain and suffering that the staff caused should be addressed as well.

Illegally towed vehicle
They illegally towed my vehicle while in a handicap space with a valid handicap placard. They claimed there was an issue with the placard. One, if there is that's not my fault how am I supposed to know. Two they towed it never contacted me or anything. They also lied when I called in asking about it saying they said there wasn't a handicap placard present. They said "it's your word vs mine" I called the police and they told me I have to sue them

Desired Outcome

Time and effort/inconvenience I want 1000

My husband and I parked in front of Monarch dental on the north side of their parking lot, nearest to fitness Connection. The lot has two signs facing north side of the lot that say 'no fitness Connection parking on this property'. We however did not see them and the law states there must be signs surrounding the entire lot, or at each parking spot. My husband and I saw the tow truck driver taking my Toyota, his scion was already gone. There were no safety chains and towing lights on my vehicle as he was driving off the lot. He also didn't stop as I was chasing after him, trying to get him to release my vehicle so we would only have to pay the drop fee. But according to state law, since my car was never properly hooked up, I wouldn't have to pay the drop fee. We waited in the lot gathering our thoughts and saw he took two other cars and didn't secure them with chains or put safety towing lights. If he had done this to our vehicles we probably could've stopped him from taking my husbands scion and he would have not had time to even touch my car. They also charged us an impound fee and the car was never impounded according to the definition of 'impound? by Texas state law.
Product_Or_Service: Undesired tow

Desired Outcome

Refund I want full refund for both vehicles.

I accidentally forgot to hang my handicapped placard when parking at my apartment and my car was towed. I was still fined after showing my placard.
I was born with a congenital bone deficiency that led me to have 20 orthopedic surgeries on my right leg. Because of this I have had a handicap placard issued to me since I was a child. On the night of 10/8/18 I parked in the handicapped spot at my apartment complex, ***, in Irving, TX. I accidentally forgot to put up my handicap placard and my car was towed. I tried explaining my situation both over the phone and through the window upon arriving at Sure Storage to retrieve my car (2015 white *** 3) and they would not listen. They still charged me the $298 even though I have the placard and paperwork showing that it belongs to me.

Desired Outcome

I would like to be refunded the $298 I was charged for accidentally forgetting to put up my placard. It was truly a mistake and I am willing to provide any necessary documentation needed to prove that I have the placard and it is issued to me.

Desired Outcome

My car was towed from a open parking zone which is meant for visitors in the apartment.
My car was towed from a open parking zone which is meant for visitors in the apartment. I have been visiting my brother and parking here for almost 6 months now and they tow it away without a reason and when called they said it was parked in reserved spot . I have proof that the spot was open and meant for visitors . The was never parked for more than an hour at the apartment when I visit my brother . They took my debit card and pin number to take 300 cash and threatened me when I was out there to collect my car . They scratched and dented my car and messed up my brakes and front axel . I need a full refund and the car to be fixed immediately. I hope Revdex.com helps me out here

Desired Outcome

I need a full refund for falsely towing my car from a visitors parking and complete repair of damaged components on the car due to towing.

I received terrible customer service, the lady would not tell me her name and hung up in my face after I asked for her name.
I went to *** Apartments to visit a friend, when I went outside I saw that a tow truck was attempting to hook my car. When I approached the vehicle to ask what was going on they jumped in the tow car and drove off without having my car properly booked. They were parked with all the lights off saying "oh st" it isn't even hooked right. I asked my friend who towed and she said they recently changed management and they have not been notified of any towing. We found 1 tow sign that was not lit and surround by construction of the entire property next to 4 parking spaces that said visitor on the ground underneath the cars that occupied the spaces. I called to file a complaint based on the initial service and was given a different number to reach out to. The lady was very rude and and told me the management company had a contract. I told her the owners recently changed and the contract would not be valid if the contract was through the previous management company. She said there was nothing she could do, I asked for her supervisor she said she didn't have one. I asked for her name and she would not give me her full name. My issue is that I've received terrible customer service while trying to get information about towing from a resident that had know idea they complex was even towing. She had not received any written notice of this policy. The tow company was and still is very unprofessional in how they deal with people. They should not treat anyone the way I was treated tonight. They also charged an out of city fee to take my car from where it was located to their storage site in dallas which is absurd! You shouldn't tow in a different city if that's the case instead of making it all about money.

Desired Outcome

$300.00 plus any damages to the car for towing without it being hooked up

My car was towed on the 27th of April from La Hacienda Apartments. When called for all the information which was asking how much was the tow and how much does it go up by the day. I was told my tow price of 164 and some change..and by the day it goes up 21 and some change. They said they accept exact change and debts with a pin. My cousin used a debt card while on the phone with the bank the lady said the card was unable to process. Tge bank isnt seeing anything being processed or rejected on their end. Mind you they behind a dark window so we cant see what they doing. So we didnt get the car out. Next day I call to see how much it went up. The lady said 234 and some change. I asked the lady what for and she said because its some kind of 50 dollar charge every 10 days. I wasnt told that at first when I asked how much it goes uo. We get up there again with a partial payment that they do accept. The lady claimed to have ran the card and said it denied again..so my mama had to peak under the little slot they have while she ran the card because that's what we had to pay with..magically the payment went thru with no pin required. So im not understanding why the first payment for the cheaper price didnt go thru. Or are they set up to not actually run the cards to make the customer pay more to get their cars back. We had to pay an extra 70 dollars and I feel like the first lady wasnt even swiping the card so the bank could see the transaction or rejected payment
. This company is getting over on customers. Then had a man out there waiting for his car but he already paid. He was a mexican and im assuming didnt speak good English and didnt know how to get his car. But they was quick to take his payment but not concerned he was waiting on his car. Please look into this business because they are doing shady *** things to customers and getting extra money because the first card we used should have went thru. The second card came from metro pcs and got approved. So why doesnt a real debt not get approved.

Desired Outcome

Refund I feel like I should only have to pay the first price that was told to me. They wasnt running the card to process and we cant see what they doing unless we bend over and look under the little slot they have. We dont know what they doing back there. The the first time with the metro card she said it didnt process. Then when a person looking down to see what they doing then it processes. Something not right.
