Bought house which reportedly had a roof leak repair by ST. Roof promptly leaked in same spot where existing ceiling damage was observed. Prior owner called ST and ST related message for me to call which I did. No reply. I left subsequent messages with no reply. Finally left negative feedback via google. This resulted in a call back and subsequent attempt to again repair and sales pitch to do additional work. I declined additional other services and wanted to focus on repair. 1st heavy rain and leak appeared to be worse than before. Again I called and was promised a call back. None occurred. Called each day for 4 consecutive days and no call back. They simply do not care and are not interested in supporting their work. Will now have to call an actual reputable roofer and pay to have repair done right. ST is terrible and others should stay away
signed a contract for work on 12/29/2018 for chimney flashing and the work was completed 1/2/2019.
*** sold the house to *** shortly after work was done. *** left a google review about the work in Feb 2020, but never attempted to contact the office. Once the review was responded to, asking him to call, he called and we went out to inspect. We redid the chimney flashing and replaced some tile at no cost to ***.
He called in again April 29, I spoke to him, and he said the leak is still happening and the water was pouring in. I opened another go back project and sent it to our production coordinator to schedule.
I have not received any calls from *** since speaking with him on the 29th of April. There have been no messages from him in our GroupMe chat either.
We have also made unsuccessful attempts to reach *** to schedule another inspection.

Not sure what this guy is talking about. The original google review after I made NUMERUOS attempts to contact their office and received NO return calls. To their credit they did respond to the review, came out and did work. Thought all was ok. Recent rains showed the repair attempt was unsuccessful. Left 5 messages between Monday after rain and late the following Friday. NONE were returned. I did not speak with anyone from the company during that time. So, either they are mistaking someone else for me, or are not being truthful.
Siding needs to be repaired as well as flashing. Flashing has holes that could possibly be a future leak issue.
Company workers damaged siding and tried twice to repair. Left holes in flashing for a possible leak issue in future. Finally came back and just caulked holes. Also cut into flat roof dry in material and and their fix was also just to caulk. Once again a possible leak issue. Willing to work with company however they never offered. Apparently they just wanted to fix with caulk. Not acceptable and a definite possible leak issue in the future.
Siding needs to be repaired as well as flashing needs to be replaced. Also possibly putting more dry in material and epoxy to fix cut in the flat roof material.
In response to the complaint, the "damage" to the siding is a small area that broke away during the install. When we spoke to the customer about this area, he said he was replacing the siding in that area (anyway because he wanted) to bring it down closer to the roof line than it had been previously and asked if it would void his warranty for the roof.
We did need to cut back the siding to properly install the flashing as well, which again, he was aware of and ok with.
As for the "slice", our representative was there with the homeowner to inspect and saw no issues or risk of leaking.
In the state of Florida, all jobs are rigorously inspected by the county, which means all flashing, sheathing, and roofing material, must be installed correctly. The work he is not happy with had to be done to pass inspections.
This permit passed for all inspections. There is no risk for leaking at the flashing or the "slice" but the homeowner does need to replace his siding, as discussed with our representatives, to avoid any future problems with the newly installed flashing and roofing systems.
Furthermore, the homeowner contracted us to do a roof on a 1.5 square structure he was building, in addition to the main house. However when the structure was built, it was 2.5 square, substantially larger and as a sign of good faith we did not charge any extra for the additional work.
Additionally, while the dumpster was on site for the roofing material, the homeowner disposed of his cement blocks, which increased our dump charge, again, we did not charge this to the homeowner.
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Apparently there is some miscommunication, First the company did in their own words damaged the siding at the install! As for a small area they have already cut back 5"to 6" and damaged is still visible. When first damaged I ask if they were going to fix the issue. They said they would address the damaged area. Their fix was to cut more siding back and leave 6 holes in flashing from previous day. Still some damage is visible.Once again I mentioned the siding needed to be replaced. I never said that I was going to replace. Apparently the only person that thinks exposed holes in flashing is not a leak issue is Surf-n-Turf ! I have spoken to 2 roofing Companies and they agree siding should be repaired as well as flashing.That is why companies have insurance! Had given the opportunity to work with the company to repair I would have definitely considered splitting cost or reduce original price of job. Short of fixing siding and flashing is unacceptable. Addressing dump fee, it was agreed I could put some construction material in dumpster while it was on property, once again I would have been more than happy to have paid a little extra on price on price of job had they wanted. The roofing job was financed and could have been worked out. Finally addressing flat roof I did pay $900.00 more on that area. Once again if they needed more money we could have worked out that in original price of job! I have been doing service work for almost 24yrs and if I damage anything we fix period! Just asking Surf-n-Turf to do the right thing. I do work with the public and have before the issues referred the company, however if area is not addressed correctly I will make it my mission to inform my customers of the sub par work your company did at my home! FYI their representative agreed the area in question looked terrible at the last visit. Caulking does not fix exposed holes in flashing period!
