Charging $for an inspection contract that covers years and is only a quick tour through a house turning on and off water and flushing toilets provides no real service to any customer......during their inspection nothing is adjusted, cleaned , or made to work better at any time......it matters little if their agent is present at a home for hours or two minutes since nothing of value comes from their inspections.......if I came to your house and simply turned on and off your lights can I or should I be allowed to charge you for a electrical inspection?....if I came to your home and simply turned on and off your car could I or should I be allowed to charge you for a car inspection?....Mr Plumber is doing exactly that by providing no real value in their "plumbing inspection".....the "discount" given me on a previous repair was highly questionable and the repair bill was still much higher after their so called discount than the repair job should have cost to begin with.......since Mr Plumber could easily snake a drain or clean facets of lime buildup or do any other number of quick value added tasks while doing their "inspection" no one should be allowed to purchase their inspection plan that provides absolutely no value or any of these value added tasks.......at the very least I should be refunded the amount of the unused inspections......furthermore I believe Mr Plumber should not be allowed to sell such useless inspection contracts in the futureMr Plumber inspections in my opinion are a complete scam of no value to the consumer and are used to generate future prodcuct sales and give greater cash flow to Mr Plumber.....Indiana should not allow Mr Plumber or any other company to offer such a scam inspection product at any price.....it is very troubling to me that Mr Plumber a company that I always believed to be an honest division of Williams Comfort Air fails to see the truth in this matter.....Mr Plumber does not treat Indiana customers with respect and should be avoided by all customers wishing to deal with a company that they can trust......sincerely, *** ***

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I have contacted you before about the dispute I'm having with MPlummerI'll soon be years old and I hired MrPlummer to unstop a sewer lineThey unstopped the area in my yard but said it continued out into the streetThey said it would cost an extra 4, to do soAfter they did the work I later found out that the work was on city property , the city would have done it for freeIf MrPlummer would have contacted Citizens energy before cutting into the street, they would have done the work for freeI feel like I was taken advantage of because of my ageI have tried to contact MrPlummer several times but no one will answer my callsPlease helpI don't want to pay for the work done in the street that Citizens Energy would have done for free Regards, *** ***

Mr. Plumber has checked the GPS of the plumber that was at the home along with the matching time card. The plumber was there for one hour and forty five minutes and provide a whole house visual plumbing inspection per contract. The 5 year Plumbing Service Agreement was purchased for $395 on April 4, 2013 and has been in effect for 3 years.  A discount of 15% on the service for that day was given, as well as on August 18, 2014 for a hose bib replacement. The warranty on the items and services with the agreement includes labor for the entire warranty period.  The discount of 15% for the services received total $194. The remaining two years of the agreement has a cost of $158. The savings received is more than the cost of the remaining two years of the Plumbing Maintenance Agreement. In conclusion, Mr. Plumber is happy to cancel the Plumbing Maintenance Agreement; however, the warranty on the plumbing items we replaced and/or repaired will revert to manufacturer’s parts warranty only with no labor. There will be no refund given as the savings with the agreement surpasses the cost of the agreement.

Mr. Plumber is a company built on trust and customer service. On April 4, 2013 our client purchased a 5 year plumbing maintenance agreement. There a many benefits with having a plumbing maintenance agreement up to and including discounted pricing, priority service, as well as yearly plumbing...

inspections. We have returned each year to complete the plumbing inspections that are included with this purchase. According to our records, on February 10, our plumber arrived at this home at 12:45pm to complete a plumbing inspection. After checking all the visible plumbing, our plumber wrote up a complete one page report on the Summary of Findings as well as completing a plumbing evaluation checklist. Our plumber departed from the home at 2:30pm. A plumbing manager spoke with this client yesterday and offered to return to the home to evaluate all plumbing. The client refused. In conclusion, after 3 years into a 5 year Plumbing Maintenance Agreement we do not feel it is fair to refund the amount paid in 2013. Our plumber was there for one hour and 45 minutes and offered an extensive amount of suggestions. Mr. Plumber hopes to have the opportunity to once again earn your trust.

in March 27, 2014 we started the process of replacing the sewer line according to our original proposal of approximately 15 feet long and 6 feet deep. Once we started the digging process, we found the sewer was full of roots to the city main. After explaining the situation to the client she...

agreed to a change order to continue replacing the sewer. She signed financing paperwork. On January 20, 2015, we received a "charge dispute" from our financing company Wells Fargo regarding this client. After receiving our documentation regarding the issue, Wells Fargo sided with Mr. Plumber and reversed the dispute. Mr. Plumber also had Citizen's Energy Group (manages the city main) attorney contact her to explain. In conclusion, Mr. Plumber spent a great deal of time and money to restore a failed sewer system to get the client facilities to use. We have proven this in two separate occasions.

I suggest that the time spent inspecting my house was not the time length given in the company response.....in fact flushing a few toilets does not take close to 2 hours....this company may be confusing the time their other technician spent the same day cleaning my furnace and putting in a new furnace  filter.....I am not disputing the service contract on the Furnace side....there is a real service provided in that inspection contract where they clean, adjust, and replace as needed  the dirty furnace and  filer........however there is no service provided by the Mr Plumber $395 inspection agreement.....it is the Mr Plumber agreement that I am claiming is a scam and I wish refunded.....at the very least the years not used should be refunded.....I believe the 2017 amount should also be refunded......there is no way a technician was flushing toilets and turning on and off water for 2 hours ...I would further suggest that there is no real value in having a technician in my house turn water off and on and flush toilets in my home for 2 hours or for 5 minutes.....I find it interesting that the company is not disputing that no service was provided but rather  seems to suggest that their technician was there  for quite a while somehow suggesting a value to the customer of some sort...........there was no service, adjustments, or cleaning performed at any time during any Mr Plumber inspection on Feb 10 or any other day...as such there should not be any question that this Mr Plumber inspection is an overpriced and worthless to the customer scam.....perhaps their technician is counting the long time spent finding my house or perhaps the time the technician spent gleefully in his truck outside of my house.....I did from my window see him out there for quite a bit....... the $395 Mr Plumber inspection contract is a scam and should not be allowed to be offered to customers...this contract serves no purpose other than to make Mr Plumber money and perhaps create future product sales....the inspection consists of a quick house walk-thru flushing toilets and turning on and off water...at no point is anything in the house during their inspection cleaned, adjusted, or made to perform better.....their $395 inspection service clearly provides the customer with no benefit of any kind.....best regards, ...[redacted]
