"Thank you. We have already been in direct communication with Dr*** to resolve this issueWe entered into a contract to produce and market a book on her behalf. As soon as we were informed by Dr*** that the check for her book earnings did not process correctly, we immediately sent her payment via Paypal, to the Paypal address she provided us, for the total sales generated by her book including the $12.00 check fee. Moving forward, we have also been in correspondence on correctly setting up her accounts in Amazon and Barnes and Noble, in good faith."

Review: I entered into a revenue-sharing agreement in 2010 with Dr. [redacted] of Surfdocs Inc. His company was to produce an information website and on a monthly basis distribute profits on a 50/50 split to partner. His company was also to provide monthly accounting.My understanding was that after 1 year, there was the option of Surfdocs to buy out the company/refund your investment if the return was not satisfactory.I paid an investment of $6000.00 with these terms. Dr. [redacted] told me I could pay in installments still with these terms. By 12 months, I found out that the website had not been created. There was a bait and twist all of a sudden that they could not start the website until all the funds had been paid. That was a complete change of investment timeline.There was no monthly accounting of updates. This year, I asked for an update. I was then sent a very brief, unprofessional communication that they would send me a check for $412.73. There was no description how this number came about. I received the check in the mail. When I tried to cash it, the check bounced, and my check assessed a fee for bounced check.I feel this was a very fraudulent and dishonest practice. I would like refund of my initial investment. I also wish to notify your office of these dishonest business practices.Desired Settlement: Refund of initial US$6000.00 invest, and payment of bank fees $12.00 for bounced check. Also an apology would be appropriate.
