[Your Answer Here]I will not be satisfied until my charges are dropped, if I was the only one that ever made comments about drug use, prostitution, etc etc in the motel this would be a different story.that is not the caseThere have been many others, posted online is many different areas.I have nothing but time when it comes to this matterThe "Motel" is horrid!!!As far as complaining, I reserve the right to complain at a time that is acceptable for me, not to a clerk at the front desk.$for hours??? Who is the thief?Its not the money, its the principle!Still nothing to be said about the Poor woman that died their either?*** * ***

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved becauseThe GM can spin this how ever he would like, there were of us there, we arrived at the hotel @ 6:and walked to Russos, we were only in the hotel for 5-minutesWhen we returned @ 2:am it was a very different storyIm not sure how else to describe the "*** Couple" engaging in a sexual act on the couch, nor can I describe the foul smell of pot in the air, or the prostitutes and "short stay" folks.It is what it is, a bad motel, with a lot of bad reviews.My bank will side with me!

I received another correspondence re my guest's complaint to which I would like to respond. The following should be posted in response to the letter I received dated Friday, 7/**:   >  Please understand that this is no game sir. I have only replied to your emails and inquiries to the best of my ability. What you have attempted to do is called theft of services. You made a reservation, checked in, stayed for the duration of your reserved stay, and checked out without complaint. Your complaints are baseless and I have found you to be an untrustworthy individual based on the comments you have made. I reviewed surveillance from the time you arrived and quite literally saw the couple you were bothered by just sitting on the couch. The young girls arriving at the same time in short dresses were party guests from a nearby catering hall. I understand it may be difficult for you to understand the reasons why each of our guests check into a room, and perhaps you may even be uncomfortable by other guests' style of attire, but if that was the case then you were under no obligation to stay in our motel.   I am very sorry we did not meet you expectations, however the fact remains that you did attempt to blackmail me and [redacted] agreed. You did stay at our motel for the entirety of your reservation using our services. Requesting that a credit card company submit a chargeback after you have used a service entirely is fraud.  You are not entitled to a refund based on what you have told me.  >    I am deeply concerned with the statements [redacted] is making. He is making statements that will be regarded as defamation if placed in an online public forum. To date [redacted]'s [redacted] post was removed, and my credit card processor has denied his request for a chargeback, that is why he mentioned taking us to court. Please understand sir that we are a family run business located in the community where we live for almost 50 years. Your claims of any illegal activity are unjustified. Offering rooms for a short stay is a rate we offer and other [redacted] reviewers also note this. I do apologize if you were...

offended by the appearance of our other guests, however we treat all of our guests with the same level of respect we had given you. At no time during your stay had you remarked about any discomfort. You had checked in at 6:30PM and checked out after 8:30AM the following day. I was available to address any of your concerns the morning of your checkout, and my desk staff, and security personal were available 24 hours a day to ensure your comfort. Furthermore, in an attempt to get a free room, you attempted to blackmail me via email over risk of negative reviews on [redacted], shortly after you left our motel.It is unfortunate that we did not meet your expectations during your prior stay. As a hotelier I appreciate that not every guest will be satisfied with our property. We work hard to ensure the comfort of every guest staying with us. However, I adamantly disagree with the notion that drug deals or prostitution occurs on our property. Finally, one thing I cannot and will not address is your attitude towards those who do not look like you. NYC is a culturally diverse area which we are proud to serve. Review: Good afternoon,

Please accept this email as notice that I will be disputing the Credit Card payments for both of the rooms we had for last night. I will also be contacting both local law enforcement as well as NYC consumer affairs.

In my 40+ years of travel there is only one hotel I have ever stayed at that is worse than Surfside 3, this place is disgusting, noisy, unsanitary, overpriced, and a hangout for hookers and drug users.

I will be contacting my bank to ask them to fight the charges of $330 based upon the overwhelming smell of Marijuana in the motel, the people checking in in front of us at 1:30 am for a "Short Stay" which is disgusting, and unsanitary, the [redacted] couple that were almost having sex on the couch in the Lobby, and lastly...... The damn door across from our rooms (6 and 4) that was opened and slammed every 2 minutes all night. Which is why we only stayed for 6 hours!!!Desired Settlement: FULL REFUND!!!
