Mr [redacted] had stayed with us and received everything he had requested They did not inform us of any issues of the room being cold until check out time at which point I had sent him a gift certificate We did in fact give them a gift certificate for another stay via mail When Mr [redacted] went to make his reservation we had requested to secure his reservation we wold need a credit card number He refused with verbal abuse and foul language that he will not secure his reservation with a credit card required for our system He then had become belligerent to our front reception staff who passed him to my extension I informed him of our policies at which point he berated me with the worst foul language and threats I informed him we will be happy to honor the certificate if he secures the reservation with a credit card required by our system at which point he berated me again It was at that point of verbal violence that I informed him we will not honor the certificate One week later he attempted to make the reservation again refusing to secure the reservation with a credit card and berated a new desk clerk which passed him to my extension I offered at that time yet again to honor the certificate if he secured the reservation with a credit card as required and again at which point he used foul language and berated me at which point I informed him he will no longer be welcome here since no staff person on the line should have to put up with such a violent and foul language

Every guest has the option of checking out without paying for remaining nights Unfortunately the issues were brought to our attention when we were sold out and not the night of the incidents to address them and when we tried to address the issues we were denied access to your room We will address these issues that the cold weather brought upon us for our future guests comfort Thank you for bringing them to our attention to correct

Hello - I would like to provide updated information regarding Complaint ID: *** filed on 1/12/18, filed by *** ***. The merchant, Surftides Beach Resort - Lincoln City, has realized their error and the duplicate charges. As of this morning, 1/18/18, Surftides
has refunded $385.84, the amount of the duplicate charge I was seeking to recover. Regards,*** ***

Revdex.com:We did allow access to our room but asked that toxins not be sprayed inside because I am five months pregnant! They nicely said they would come back with a vinegar alternative and never returned to address the issueTo say we denied access is completely wrong! However I accept the full refund with appreciation of the BBU.

I am rejecting this response because: In No way am I subjecting myself or my Fiancé to Chris I*** verbal assaults and liesI ask that SurfTides credit my CC or send me a refund for the gift certificate Chris I*** voidedI already made two attempts to use the gift certificate surfTides provided me with but have been told mrChris I*** has voided my gift certificate that I received from them because my room was not just cold but absolutely freezingEven with the fireplace on, the heat turned all the way up and we even called down to the front desk to ask for extra blankets because it was extremely freezing to where we didn't even take showers in the morning and contemplated checking into another hotel in the middle of the night because it was freezingAfter all the excessive drama with Chris I*** I would just like a refund

He started to berates me telling me I have to use a credit card. I got disconnected from him either by him or cell coverage. I don't know. A few days later I called back to attempt again. That is where I talked to the staff a very nice lady who said I had to talk to Chris. That is when Chris told me he voided my gift certificate. I demanded my money back.
