Purchased a month old Shih Tzu puppy on 10/25/was told she had a small hernia but as long as I take her to the Veterinarian for check up within days Pet city would cover anything that was wrong with the puppy So on 10/27/I took my puppy to *** *** Pet Clinic at *** *** *** ** *** *** *** upon examination the Vet found out she had Kennel cough and when he checked her hernia it was not small it was large and she had two hernias and they never should of sold her without first correcting this issue he says eventually they will get big enough cause strangulation of her intestinal tract and he wrote this on a report so I could take it back to Pet City and so I did talked to a so called manager and he told me they cover medicine but not health issues in which they old me it was small and employee Heather assured me they would fix well he said no Refunds and they old not be paying for her hernia surgery so very upset I left this my poor puppy Onyx sh
I purchased a shih tzu and signed an agreement that I have the puppy checked out within days of purchaseIt also stated that if it became ill I could treat the puppy at my expense or take it to them to treatI contacted Pet City two days later to report my puppy was very sickThey said they would not have a vet to treat her for more daysI told them the puppy would be dead by thenI took the puppy to my vet on day of owning herShe was immediately put on an IVShe spent the week at my vet and had to be transferred to Gulf Coast days later as the infection had spread to her liverI spent $6,treating a puppy I didn't even get to knowI have the supporting documentationMy dog is wellWe saved herDo not buy a pet from this establishment! They are sick!
I recently purchased a month old Morkie for my year old daughterEverything was great our 1st few days then over time we notice a little cough turned into coughing and gagging day and night! I was so scared she was going to pass away, I took her to the animal emergency hospital times in the same day, they prescribed her antibiotic and codine to a pound puppySeeing her suffer broke my heart, we had already became so attached to her that I did everything in my power to get her back healthyI spent over $for her to get betterHer Vet even stated and typed up a letter saying that the sickness came from their facility!!! And to add fuel to the fireI referred my sister there to get a puppy the same week that I did and her Malipo has the same sickness as my Morkie!!! They are selling SICK dogs!!! It's so sad, I haven't had my puppy for days yet!!! Anyone who is considering LEASING/BUYING a puppy from here please reconsider!!!!!!!!!! Save yourself heartache because believe me it's hard to see a innocent animal go through the things I watched my puppy go through!
