Review: Dear Sir or Madam: I am writing this letter regarding a mobile app development service that was supposed to have been received from Surya Rising II, Inc. The official name of the service advertised was called the 90 Day App Challenge. Here is their official website: h[redacted]/ I was first exposed to the service April 13th and 14th 2013 at The App Code 2.0 live conference (another of [redacted] and [redacted] companies) in San Diego, CA. The contract agreement was signed on 5/7/13. I paid $18,000 for this service, $1,000 of which was billed to my credit card on 4/17/13 to hold my place in the program during the interview process, and $17,000 of which I made by wire transfer to Surya Rising on 5/8/2013. On 3/14/14, all 30 members of the incubator received a letter from Surya stating they had run out of funds and were closing their doors. Up to this point, no development had been started and no designs were delivered for my app. Specific recitals from our agreement states the following: ======A. Publisher (Surya Rising II, Inc.) is in the business of developing mobile software applications (Mobile Apps), and distributing Mobile Apps.B. Publisher has gained expertise in the process of managing the development of Mobile Apps in order to efficiently bring Mobile App ideas from inception to market.C. Publisher uses its expertise in development, project management, deployment and distribution to bring Mobile Apps through the process of Mobile App development (the Development Services)D. Publisher acts as a publisher and distributor of Mobile Apps.E. Original Author Stetson Ramey has conceived of and created a Mobile App that is currently incomplete. (Note: the only thing that was created was the app idea. No code or any digital assets were created during the inception of this agreement)F. Publisher desires to acquire all right, title and interest to the Original Authors Mobile App (theAcquired App) in exchange for royalties set forth in this Agreement.G. Original Author desireDesired Settlement: I want a full refund of my $18,000 buy in fee.

Review: I am writing this letter regarding a mobile app development service that was supposed to have been received from Surya Rising II, Inc. The official name of the service advertised was called the 90 Day App Challenge. The service was originally advertised on 5/1/13 via webinar. The contract agreement was signed on 5/21/13. I paid $20,000 for this service, which was made by Chase wire transfer dated 5/22/13. On 3/14/14, all 30 members of the incubator received a letter from Surya stating they had run out of funds and were closing their doors. Up to this point, no development had been started and no designs were delivered for my app. The contracted Development fee was supposed to fund the writing of the software code and build the acquired app, which was not done for several of the members of the incubator including myself. Other promises of marketing support for the app were advertised and mentioned in the agreement but also were not fulfilled upon for several of the members who actually got an app produced. We contacted Surya in an effort to receive a refund, but they claimed to not have any funds to pay us back even though theyve paid themselves large salaries according to a former employee. The collective total of the incubator members investments, in which they took, amounted to around $510K-$600K.Presently, the members of the community are contemplating a class action lawsuit and believe the (2) founders: [redacted] and [redacted], should be investigated thoroughly before they close their doors and file for bankruptcy. This is simply not right and you will receive many other complaints regarding Surya in the next several days. I am also filing a complaint to the Department of Justice and the Revdex.com in an effort to seek justice for this wrongdoing.Desired Settlement: Please assist us in resolving this complaint as many of the members of this incubator have invested their life savings in this falsely advertised incubator. Many are single moms, dads, and family providers who trusted Surya to deliver on a promise but instead have been duped by this company and its founders. I would like to receive a full refund from Surya of the full cost of the service in the amount of $20,000.
