Mr. and Ms. [redacted] submitted their notice to vacate on November 17, 2014. Their lease expired as of December 6th, 2014. Per our lease agreement we require a 60 day written notice. Due to the notice being given on...
November 17th rent owed to fulfill the notice was due through January 17th, 2015. Per their lease agreement and the numerous renewal letters with reminders of the required notice and penalties, their rate increase to the Month to Month rate generated from our pricing system. This amount is the $2,668 mentioned in the complaint. In regard to their maintenance issues, I researched all work orders requested by the residents in which all were addressed and closed. Unfortunately we are unable to complete work requests that are not reported. As you can see in the emails sent to the [redacted]’s every question was answered with explanation. We tried very hard to work with them the best we could within our means. It seems as soon as they sent the last email to us on December 8th with mention of their problems they contacted the Revdex.com. The last email sent to Mr. and Ms. [redacted] on December 9th never received a response. Upon paying January’s rent they remitted payment at the 6 month rate that was noted in the email in which we received no response.
