Dear Mr. Ross,
I am responding to you regarding your ticket purchase on 1/5/2015 for our scheduled route service on 1/6/2015.
I would like to start by apologizing to you for the way you were treated and your ticket not being honored. I am mailing (Phila address provided) you out a refund check this afternoon, you should receive it by Monday.
I am not going to attempt to make any excuses for our staff, they should have been more accommodating to you. Just a quick bit of history, we recently discovered we were being scammed by our newly implemented e-tickets, so we tried to remedy it by making sure printed tickets were handed to driver – I am able to understand your points about smartphones and etc. and I agree, so we are modifying our policy to allow our driver to take the confirmation number and we can clear the ticket back in our terminal office.
Again I apologize for your inconvenience and the way our staff handled this issue. I hope if you are traveling through our service area in the future you consider our services again so we can show you that is not our normal level of service.
