The customer came in on 7/at 9:AM and requested an express oil change and Honda multi point inspection Upon completion of the inspection it was recommended that additional maintenance work be completed on the vehicle This included a timing belt replacement, valve adjustment and various fluid changes A written estimate was provided to the customer in the amount of $1,plus tax in which the customer signed Please see attached Based on the signed estimate, the work was completed on 7/at 4:PM, almost hours later I’m not sure where the customer is coming up that the work was completed in hours Due to the number of items requested to be repaired, Sussex Honda had two technicians working on the vehicle at the same time in order to speed up the process as the customer was leaving for vacation shortly thereafter Upon hearing of the customer’s unhappiness, the Service Manager reached out to the customer a number of times to discuss the situation but he could never make contact After discussing the repair order and customer’s unhappiness with the Dealer Principal, Sussex Honda refunded the customer $to help cover hours of the second technician working on the vehicle The customer was not happy with that amount and has since returned the check to Sussex HondaAt this point, Sussex Honda’s offer of $still standsWe have a repair estimate signed by the customer and there was nothing done wrong by the dealership

Here is Sussex Honda’s response to compliant ID***. Please let me know if you need any additional information. This customer had marginal credit. They were notified by Sussex Honda that we would have to run their credit to get them approved. Sussex Honda submitted
their credit application to a few banks to try to secure them an auto loan. We had to submit their application to additional banks after it was discovered that they had unverifiable income and were turned down by the first few banks we triedAll banking institutions run their own credit report on customers. They do not use a copy of the credit report run by Sussex Honda, which is what this customer thought. The customer was upset and said we had no right to let banks run their credit, but unfortunately that’s standard industry practice. This customer also went to another car dealer who had submitted them to multiple banks and the same outcome occurred. At this time there is nothing further Sussex Honda could have done any differently as we followed industry polices as required. Regards, *** ***Intercar Mercedes-Benz, Sprinter** *** *** ***

The VW dealer in which the vehicle was being returned to was giving us a hard time which caused the delay. We finally got them to take the car but there were additional fees billed to the customer. We have sent the customer a check to cover the VW late fees and the customer is now
very happy. Regards, *** ***Intercar Mercedes-Benz, Sprinter** *** *** ***

Sussex Honda did not do anything wrong and followed standard industry practice. No further action will be taken by the dealership

The customer came in on 7/1 at 9:42 AM and requested an express oil change and Honda multi point inspection.  Upon completion of the inspection it was recommended that additional maintenance work be completed on the vehicle.  This included a timing belt replacement, valve adjustment and...

various fluid changes.  A written estimate was provided to the customer in the amount of $1,868 plus tax in which the customer signed.  Please see attached.  Based on the signed estimate, the work was completed on 7/1 at 4:14 PM, almost 7 hours later.  I’m not sure where the customer is coming up that the work was completed in 3 hours.  Due to the number of items requested to be repaired, Sussex Honda had two technicians working on the vehicle at the same time in order to speed up the process as the customer was leaving for vacation shortly thereafter.  Upon hearing of the customer’s unhappiness, the Service Manager reached out to the customer a number of times to discuss the situation but he could never make contact.  After discussing the repair order and customer’s unhappiness with the Dealer Principal, Sussex Honda refunded the customer $553.73 to help cover 4.5 hours of the second technician working on the vehicle.  The customer was not happy with that amount and has since returned the check to Sussex Honda. At this point, Sussex Honda’s offer of $553.73 still stands. We have a repair estimate signed by the customer and there was nothing done wrong by the dealership.

There is something you guys can do to fix this situstion. I was told by your sales man that my credit will only be ran once I told him I only wanted it run once and not sent to multiple banks. Also I was told I got the loan and I didn't apparently so you guys had to run my credit again after you guys sold my car and I slilxnt have been allowed to take the car off the lot without being approved first. The. You jus made me sign a contract with the old date on it again so you guys wouldn't get in trouble. Also there was other pekples personal information left in the loaner car you guys gave us I hope you guys aren't that careless about my personal information. I am not satisfied with the way you guys run your business.

Review: I leased a new car from Honda through a leasing company. The arrangement was that my new Honda car would be delivered to my address & they would return my old leased car, a **, by the due date of 5/1/15, to an authorized ** dealer.I wanted to return the ** myself but Honda insisted they return it bc the guy who would deliver, would need my old car to get back to the dealer, so I agreed. My new car was delivered on 4/29/15 by a driver named [redacted].[redacted] informed me that he would be using my ** to pick up another driver who was also delivering a new car to another customer and that afterwards,he would drop off my **, at Honda. [redacted] drove off with my car that only had 12,015 miles on it. On 5/1 I called my leasing contact,[redacted],to confirm my ** car had been returned and if it hadn't, to pull out my cd's that I accidently left in the car.[redacted] spoke w [redacted] at Honda who confirmed my car had been returned to ** on 4/30 and unfortunately my cds were now lost. No big deal. On 5/7, ** contacted me looking for the car! On 5/9 I called Sussex Honda directly and requested to speak with a manager. [redacted] took my call. I explained the situation and he found my car and cds. By this point my car was 7 days late being returned to **. I was VERY clear with [redacted] that I would be sending them the invoice for the additional days my ** was sitting in their lot. [redacted] agreed & also agreed that [redacted] handled my lease return very poorly and that he would address this internally and pay my invoice. When I received the invoice I emailed it to [redacted], he gave me his email address. Now I received the invoice again so I emailed [redacted] again and left him a voicemail following up. After not hearing back from him, I called him today. Now [redacted] is saying that he never agreed to pay the invoice for days my car was at the Honda dealer. My car was returned to ** w 12,108 miles. I believe [redacted] was using my ** for his personal use. [redacted] is reneging on our verbal agreement to pay, he said he never agreed!Desired Settlement: I want Honda Sussex to pay the outstanding $123 that is owed to ** and an apology in writing from [redacted] and [redacted]!
