elected to repair the faucet first or at least try. This prompted another leak. Then they became irate. We did several tasks for them, not just for the faucet repair.
We tried to negotiate with them and even did not charge them for 4 hours (all the time we spent on the faucet)of our total bill for various repairs in the house.
This man became abusive and threatened myself and my office personnel. If we go to arbitration, I will want a policeman present for this meeting.
Our office staff had to contact the police after his continuous verbally abusive phone calls.
We have documentation for all of our visits and phones calls to him.

supervisor's response.
On 2/13/15 the city of St. Ann called us about a sewer emergency at [redacted] I met with Mrs. [redacted] and [redacted] from St. Ann. I estimated the job and we began digging on 2/14/15. It was very cold, it was still winter. We did the repair, got an inspection from St. Louis County. We did notice that when we backfilled, the dirt was frozen. We added rock to the excavation where the sidewalk was taken out. A callback was written to replace the concrete when the weather condition permitted us to. On the request of the homeowner, she wanted the sidewalk put back as soon as possible. After a few calls, we went over and re-poured the sidewalk. The ground was extremely frozen. Without letting the excavation thaw out, the ground had sunk causing the sidewalk to drop.
We wrote up another callback to replace the sidewalk and till in the sunken areas. Do to the weather conditions, it was very difficult to fix this sunken problem. There was many phone calls back and forth and even a threat of the homeowner calling a lawyer and suing our company.
We arrived on 4/16/15 and filled in the sunken areas and replace the fallen sidewalk. I had talked to Mr. [redacted] and all seemed to be good.
In closing, the very cold weather conditions and the amount of emergencies we had to attend to was the problem for the slow response. If we could of let this excavation settle properly, we may not have had these problems.
