Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 7, 2015/04/30) */ Contact Name and Title: [redacted] Vice-President Contact Phone: XXXXXXXXXX Contact Email: [redacted] @sbcglobal.net We have looked back on our email records and we have never received this complaintHowever, this is our outside supervisor's response On 2/13/the city of StAnn called us about a sewer emergency at [redacted] I met with Mrs [redacted] and [redacted] from StAnnI estimated the job and we began digging on 2/14/It was very cold, it was still winterWe did the repair, got an inspection from StLouis CountyWe did notice that when we backfilled, the dirt was frozenWe added rock to the excavation where the sidewalk was taken outA callback was written to replace the concrete when the weather condition permitted us toOn the request of the homeowner, she wanted the sidewalk put back as soon as possibleAfter a few calls, we went over and re-poured the sidewalkThe ground was extremely frozenWithout letting the excavation thaw out, the ground had sunk causing the sidewalk to drop We wrote up another callback to replace the sidewalk and till in the sunken areasDo to the weather conditions, it was very difficult to fix this sunken problemThere was many phone calls back and forth and even a threat of the homeowner calling a lawyer and suing our company We arrived on 4/16/and filled in the sunken areas and replace the fallen sidewalkI had talked to Mr [redacted] and all seemed to be good In closing, the very cold weather conditions and the amount of emergencies we had to attend to was the problem for the slow responseIf we could of let this excavation settle properly, we may not have had these problems
