From: [redacted] Sent: Friday, April 11, 11:AMTo: drteamSubject: Revdex.com Case # [redacted] ID assigned: [redacted] Quality Multiserv Inc To:Whom it may concern On the day of March 20th Mr[redacted] *** [redacted] ** came by our shop and asked our front desk clerk about the service he would like to be performed on his truck (engine start module installment) the clerk informed the customer that we did not performed those type of jobs here in Quality he then insisted in talking to the mechanicWhen speaking to the mechanic the mechanic informed him one more time that that we do not perform those type of jobs the customer insisted for him to do it that he was sure that he was gonna be able to do it he even brought the instructions that came with the part that was gonna be installed the mechanic agreed to do it as a favor to the customer since he was very insisting although the mechanic let Mr[redacted] know that the job that was gonna be performed did not had any warranty whats so ever Mr[redacted] agreed to itWhen the job was done Mr[redacted] left the shop in his truck and the truck worked perfectly fine A couple of days later Mr[redacted] came by our shop to informed us what had happened with his truck .He asked for a refund of what he had payed the Road Service due to our negligenceWe let him know that since the beginning we had let him know that we do not perform those type of jobs but since he was very insisting we had agreed in doing him a favor and installing it for him and only charging him the amount of $ and that the job that was performed by Road Service was probably the correct way to perform the job since the beginning when we informed him that we do not perform those type of jobs Initially we offered to refund the amount that we charged for the engine start module installment he did not agree with that we then offered a second option since we think that we didn’t do anything wrong and since we wanted to keep him happy and we wanted to keep him as a Quality Multiserv customer we offered that we would not give him the amount of money that he payed the Road Service cash but that we would give him a credit for future services here at our shop he once again did not agree with that either he then got very aggressive and threaten us that we would pay one way or anotherBoth options are still open for him if he chooses to take one [redacted] Quality Multiserv Sheffield Blvd [redacted]

since we think that we didn’t do anything wrong  and since we wanted to
keep him happy and we wanted to keep him as a Quality Multiserv customer we

I [redacted] ** is going to go on record with some of the things business said was true but the other
Things being said was completely false. 
1.I did ask the clerk if they installed it she replied I will have to ask the Mechanic I said OK
2. Being true I said they will pay for it one way or another.
Those are the only true things that Mr. [redacted] said that has been true. The Mechanic came in and inquired about the Engine start module I told him it was like a battery but it wasn’t a battery  Since they installed batteries they could handle the situation. Not one time did the tech said that he could not installed the device. Had he told me that I would have moved on to another place. The only reason I let him do it in the first place is because I had them do some other work. Not one time did he refuse to not do it or tell me that the work was above he skill level. If this company install batteries they could in fact install this device. The problem is they hire people not qualified to do work on peoples trucks with no accountability.
  
After the so called tech installed the device I asked him how was the batteries being charged  he told me from the negative connections and he assured me it was connected right. So I said OK. I went to my mom house about 78 miles away. On my way back to Houston my truck stopped on me at a rest area about 2300 that night. I could not do nothing that night so the next morning I called road side service. They came out and   discovered the device was hooked up wrong. I gave the service guy who came out the book and he said yeah it was simple and that whoever hooked it up was an [redacted] 
 
A Favor is considered something done for free they charged me for that favor. The truck worked fine because it was running off of my batteries once my batteries died  so was my truck. I did not return in a couple of days it was the very next day less than 15 hours later.
As for my refund a guy in the office who spoke no English told me he could not return my money back but he could pay be in merchandise or services I told him there was nothing in the store that I wanted  nor did I trust the work they do because of what has happen. We as human  are creatures of habit  If a place do good work you return. If they do lousy work you never go back. In this case I just want my money for the service call and I will never go back. If they had dealt with me fairly at that moment.
I would have considered it but that ship has sailed. 
If they told me that they offered no warranty for the work performed WHY did they not put all of this on the Receipt at the printing? WHY? 
To cover there butts like most companies do . Fine print or something!
Because they never said that they was doing it as a favor  or that I insisted they  install the device something in writing indicating that  I agreed to do nothing. They are in the business to work on trucks for drivers. We work hard for our money. We try to get things done on our down time to keep from making a service call which is much more costly when you are out on the road. This companies need to be accountable.
Their not the ones sitting on the side of the road we are.

This is a great company to deal with! They have the best prices and their customer service is always helpful. I would recommend them to anyone looking for outdoor products.
