I believe there may be some confusion on the part of the customer None of our trucks, signage, website, ads, etcindicates in any way whatsoever that we are electricians or do electrical workWe keep notes when each customer calls and we put everything in writingThe customer's contract, which we have a signed copy of, states the following:- Remove existing lights under the overhang on the barn and lights on the inside of the barn.- Install new vapor lights in their place.- Ensure all lights are functional.- Remove and replace the front porch light on the home with a customer provided light (We were unable to accommodate this request which is why the $credit was issuedCheck was sent via registered mail today.)- Clean up and haul away all work related debris [redacted] The contract does not indicate any electrical work or installation of wiring However, since one of our team members did a poor installation and the customer is not satisfied, we are willing to compensate the customer for any additional expense incurred as a result of the work we performed.Furthermore, if the customer would like us to come back out with a supervisor and address any additional issues, we are more than willing to set up an appointment and complete any unsatisfied part of the initial contract to the customer's satisfactionIf the customer has already paid someone else to do electrical work, and that person is a qualified and licensed electrician, we are more than happy to compensate the customer for the amount of rework the customer had to pay for, minus the $check that we sent by certified mail today, 11/17/ We would need a copy of that bill so that we have reference for our records and can issue an additional check

We are very sorry for this unintentional misstepWe will make this rightThe person who filed the complaint has been a customer of ours since January of that we have done four jobs for over the yearsOur office manager is drafting a check for $as I type this response and we will send the
check via registered mail todayIt will be post marked 11-17-17.We were reluctant to do this job for the customer from the beginning because we felt this would be better suited for an electricianThe customer wanted us to do the job because of a history of satisfaction in other work performed by our company. We did replace the lights as the contract stated, using the existing wiring that we did not install. Installing wiring would require a licensed electrician and we are not licensed electricians and do not claim to be such. We are hopeful that the $credit that was agreed upon previously is suitable and that this will resolve the matter to the customer's satisfaction

I am rejecting this response because:
Because of their response They never once said they were not qualified to do the job On the side of their trucks is says electrical in big letters I want $which is deducting the lights fixtures from the original amount I paid They are being so irresponsible for their actions

I believe there may be some confusion on the part of the customer.  None of our trucks, signage, website, ads, etc. indicates in any way whatsoever that we are electricians or do electrical work. We keep notes when each customer calls and we put everything in writing. The customer's contract, which we have a signed copy of, states the following:- Remove existing lights under the overhang on the barn and 13 lights on the inside of the barn.- Install new vapor lights in their place.- Ensure all lights are functional.- Remove and replace the front porch light on the home with a customer provided light.  (We were unable to accommodate this request which is why the $200 credit was issued. Check was sent via registered mail today.)- Clean up and haul away all work related debris. * The contract does not indicate any electrical work or installation of wiring.  However, since one of our team members did a poor installation and the customer is not satisfied, we are willing to compensate the customer for any additional expense incurred as a result of the work we performed.Furthermore, if the customer would like us to come back out with a supervisor and address any additional issues, we are more than willing to set up an appointment and complete any unsatisfied part of the initial contract to the customer's satisfaction.
