Suzette's website menu has no pricesWe decided to give her a try last night for dinnerWe reviewed the menu to find that her prices were too high for usI asked why she did not publish her prices on her website menu, and Suzette stated that her prices change too frequentlyWe politely returned the menus, said thank you and began to leaveSuzette called after us, very rudely, "What, no hamburgers on my menu?" We dined elsewhere and will NEVER return to Suzette's Creperie

Thank you for your letter regarding a complaint issued toward Suzette's Creperie and for giving us an opportunity
to share our side of the story I checked with the staff on the details of this situation and no one remembers exactly the situation so I can only tell you how we normally respond when asked the question presented in the complaintFirst we rarely have people when they come into the restaurant ask us why are prices are not listed on our websiteNormally when someone asks us about prices they call us and ask for the price range of our menuVery rarely in years have customers referenced that our website does not have prices listedWe don't put prices on our website because the prices do change, not often, but we feel it would be better to not have a price than to have the price change before we are able to change the websiteThen the customer is expecting one price and it is actually anotherWe depend on a web manager company to make these changes, so we cannot do the changes spontaneously. As for the hamburger remark, if it was stated as said in the complaint, that is rudeOur staff is not known to be rude so perhaps because the menus were just handed back without saying anything the person helping the couple wanted to know if our menu was not broad enoughOr perhaps our staff was apologizing for not having a more casual menu that includes hamburgersSince price was not mentioned the staff member helping them was probably just trying to figure out why they decided not to dine at Suzette's that evening We know there are many great places to eat in Downtown WheatonWe also know that our French-centric Bistro and Menu are not for everyone whether it is the price range and/or the menu item choices We are glad the Stehley's were able to find another place to dine and that their trip to the suburbs was not in vain
