Review: On numerous occasions I have been obligated to have my Suzuki XL7 serviced by the Dealer. The most recent was on Saturday, 3/22/14. As with all previous visits, I was flat-out lied to by the service department. Previous visits didn't cost me money, since the work performed (or in the instance of them claiming to replace my water pump -- not performed at all), however this time I was charged $144 for "diagnostics"...resulting in the tech indicating the problem was not what my regular mechanic had determined the issue to be, and that I had to scheduled "further diagnostics" (also for $144) to determine what the actual problem is. The intake sheet had incorrect information on it, the service technician claimed the issue was "definitely not" the Body Control Module, and instead would need several hours with the car to track down "the wiring problem." As of this afternoon, the replacement BCM I found online for a fraction of the cost they wanted to charge me, has been installed by another Suzuki service ([redacted]) and it solved the issues I've been having for almost 2 whole weeks.Desired Settlement: I want a refund on the "diagnostic" done on 3/22 since it was a complete waste of my money and time, as well as being incorrect and incomplete; a refund for the extra time I had to rent a car for (total $$ still to be determined, but a minimum of 5 days from Enterprise) in order to get my Suzuki checked again by my mechanic to confirm it was NOT a wiring issue, and the money for gas to and from the Suzuki Service Department at [redacted] Auto in [redacted], PA -- the next closest Suzuki service repair location.

Additionally, I want to be sure that Revdex.com shares information that the service department in Green Brook has no less than 3 times been wrong in "diagnosing" my car, lied about replacing a water pump (under warranty, so Corporate Suzuki was billed for it, not me), and sheer incompetence.

After investigation of paperwork and conversations with the technician, we determined that the client‘s vehicle could not be completely diagnosed with the information at hand. The client declined any further diagnosis at the time and chose to take their vehicle elsewhere. We feel that based on the diagnostics that were performed and the inconclusive results, the client is not entitled to any refund from Suzuki of Greenbrook. it is also our stand' that the customer's request for reimbursement of rental costs is unfounded. In conclusion, based on the documentation at hand, we feel the client's comments are both presumptuous and libelous
