[Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.]No, I am not satisfied with thisYou are supposed to be professionals and if you can't get the job done than the business should eat the cost of labor, not the customer I would be willing to pay the mechanics hourly wage for the hours that he worked, but you can't tell me you pay your mechanic $an hour In no way should you be able to bring in a profit on a job you could not complete I will pay his hourly wage for the hours, otherwise I want the rest of my money back

When Mr. [redacted] originally scheduled the appointment for his [redacted] Dodge Pickup, the sales girl who scheduled his appointment explained to him that this being an older vehicle the parts don't always come apart easy or in some cases at all. She explained that the time allowed to install the leveling...

kit could be significantly greater than the typical 2 hour installation. However, Mr. [redacted] wanted to proceed. On the afternoon his vehicle was scheduled, Mr. [redacted] brought his vehicle to our shop. Our technician, whom is very skilled at this type of install, began working on his truck at the scheduled time. After two hours of trying to get Mr. [redacted]'s parts installed our technician informed the sales department that he was unable to go any further with Mr. [redacted]'s truck. Apparently, in researching the problem the only solution would be to cut the Lower Control Arm Bolts from Mr. [redacted]'s truck. We do not stock the replacement bolts for his truck. He also made a note on the work order that the truck appeared to have been sitting for a long period of time. He noted the underside of the truck was very rusty. The sales department and our technician spoke to Mr. [redacted] about the lack of progress we were making on his [redacted] Dodge Truck. When asked if we should proceed, not knowing at this point what kind of time limit we were looking at, Mr. [redacted] decided not to proceed any further. We only charged Mr. [redacted] for 2 hours of labor, even though the technician worked on his vehicle for 2.5 hours.
