I made my first ob/gyn apt with this office as soon as I found out I was pregnant with my first child. I have to say this is the worst office I have literally ever been to. The sonogram tech was always eating breakfast or had her cell phone out in the room, the front desk staff was very rude and not sympathetic. Always texting or just talking to each other. Office manager was rude and had no customer service or compassion skills. I feel that I was wrongly charged for visits as I owed them $200 in 2 months, but not have had any bills or balances with new office and have been going there for 5 months.

Review: I had an ultrasound on 12/**/2011 at this office, with [redacted]. My health insurance did not require me to make a copayment for any tests at that time but the office charged me the $15 copay anyway. When I realized the mistake I contacted them by phone on 1/**/12 and then in writing (US Mail at their request) and asked that they refund the $15. I spoke with [redacted] at that time and she said they would issue the refund as soon as they received the payment from my insurance company for a minor surgery done on 1/**/2012 as a result of the ultrasound. I never received the refund. I contacted them again on 4/**/2013 and they told me that I owed $1.50 for copies of medical records that I had received on 1/**/2012 and that they would refund $13.50 which I did receive on 1-**-13. On 1/**/13, I contacted them again by phone and then by US mail to advise them that I had found the receipt for the $1.50 for medical records that I had ALREADY PAID on the day of the appointment in question, on 1/**/12. I spoke to [redacted] and then a number of times after that during 2013 to the new [redacted], who was rude and disrespectful, and was repeatedly told that they will refer it to the doctor's wife, who is also a physician, and the party who issues the refunds. As of today, 12-*-13, I still do not have the balance of the refund. I feel that if they have the audacity to charge patients for copies of their own medical records then I can demand that they refund me for the same amount since I already paid for them once. Needless to say, I am no longer a patient at this practice.Desired Settlement: I would like the $1.50 refunded and an apology from the DOCTOR for his staff's and especially his [redacted]'s rudeness.
