Incompetent sales clerks in store, and incompetent customer service by phoneThey are unable and unwilling to inform you of sale prices, or when and if they even have salesPlaned to purchase a new Opal 690Q for a Christmas gift for my daughter, but was unable to due to their day return policy, and unwillingness to inform me of the best time to purchase at the lowest possible priceThis signifies greed of only wanting to sell full priced machineIf they treat me this way when I want to purchase, if the machine were to have problems I would most likely not get good customer service then either I am disappointed after calling the local store numerous times leaving my name and number and email never to hear from anyone, then calling customer care at the headquarters, never to get a return call there either

SVP is probably the worst run company in the US. They took an American icon, Singer, and ran it into the ground by having them built in China, Mexico and God knows where else. They have no clue what customer service is and do NOT care to know. They make throwaway machines, and act like you were stupid to buy their $100 one. My question is: Why did you have it made and put your name on it? Don't you have any pride? People thought the name Singer meant quality and bought what they could afford and you treat them like dirt. Shame on you, you are un-American and should hang your head. There are so many people that believed in you and feel betrayed by no service centers at all close to anyone because your quality is so poor a sewing machine repairman does not want to waste their time. Why don't you train some people or do you like it like that? Read your reviews on the internet and see for yourself or go pat yourself on the back for taking the American public for fools.
