Carolina Freightliner is the worst dealership in North Carolina. I am a owner operator who only owns one truck. I took my truck in for a repair and they never even look at the truck. My truck would not go over 45 miles an hour . So after doing research online I discovered that it possibly maybe the hose going to the turbo . So I call up and ask them to check the hose. Long story short after two days of my truck sitting up there I decided to go up there myself and pop the hood. To my amazement I discovered the hose was loose and the clamp had broke. Meanwhile the several phone calls I sent to them they told me they were going to look at it right away. They never even pop the hood on the truck. It was very obvious that the hose was loose and the clamp was missing. So I went inside to the parts department and bought a five dollar clamp. I then proceeded to go and fix the hose myself. Just unbelievable the way they treat a person who is not a big corporation. Unless you are a big company do not use these guys ever. This is not the first experience with this company that went bad. I had took another truck up there to have them do a diagnostic test on the engine. Later that day I got a phone call from the service tech telling me I might as well just trade the truck in. I fixed the truck for $45 by replacing a sensor and still have the truck to this day . Again the last man on the totem pole treatment . To anybody who reads this please take into consideration that these guys are there to take your money and charge you for hours of service they never perform.
