First, let me thank you for your attention to this matterI have reviewed the offer made by Albemarle Heating & Air in reference to complaint ID ***, and find the parameters proposed for resolution of the complaint to be generally satisfactoryAt the same time, I find portions of Albemarle's response substandardSince this is my opportunity to set the record straight, please find relevant portions of Albemarle's response below with my comments:1) "the technician was greeted at the door by the complainant's wife and she told him that he wasn't who he said he wasShe was argumentative.": My wife initially failed to recognize the workerShe certainly accepted who he was thereafterShe was hardly "argumentative" about this matter, and if she was "argumentative" about anything else, who was the person arguing with her? (In any case, any "argumentativeness" certainly did not reach the level of closing the door - or hanging up the telephone - on the person involved.)2) "brought brand new replacement filters with him which she deemed to 'stink' and threw them outside: "Brand new" items (such as new cars) may have an odor which is offensive to someIn this case, my wife (who Albemarle admits does have chemical sensitivities) did not want the existing smell from the filters coming into the houseShe tossed (not "threw") them onto the front porch to air off - they certainly weren't breakable and we were paying for themSince the business is not alleging that they were thrown at anyone, I can only assume that the choice of wording is a sad attempt to regain the high ground in this matter.3)Comments in "Note": While this may well be true of current advertisements (and I am glad that Albemarle is a dog which can learn new tricks), the former television advertisements to which I referred (clearly stating in my complaint that they were former) did NOT mention the mile radius of Charlottesville (which I believe has evolved from a promise covering Albemarle County which itself seems to have evolved from the advertisement to which I DID refer). We are so very sorry for confusion.  It appears that the comforter was rang up under [redacted] instead of [redacted] and the comforter has been ready and in the store since Thursday 11/2.  Obviously our clerk didn't look very hard for it as it was there hanging in the line. ...

I have corrected the name in the system and also placed a $20 credit in our system for [redacted] for a future order.  Again please accept our deepest apologies for the mix up.
