Negative experience with [redacted] from the beginning. The first time we went in there, she suggested that only one of the bridesmaids try on dresses for our best friends wedding. She had made a comment that it would be better to see the dress on someone who is thinner so we could get a better idea of what the dress should look like. It was at that point I was ready to move on to another bridal shop, however, I stood my ground and was allowed to try on a dress. I found one that I really liked and was flattering on all body types. We could not locate the dress anywhere else, so if I wanted that dress, I had to stay with this place. When I was given the quote, I specifically asked if alterations were included in the price. (Having been a bridesmaid in the past, I am fully aware that MOST places do NOT include it in the price). Both myself and the other bridesmaid were told by this woman that alterations were included in the price we paid on the quote. The wedding is this Saturday. We have had THREE fittings for this dress, and I was just able to pick them up today (after being told we should try them on again to make sure they fit.... uhhh hello, clearly there is no time to make additional alterations). So, I go to pick up our dresses and am then told we owe additional money for the alterations. Of course the lady argued with me, and I paid and left. I would like to point out, I live an hour away from this place. If it were clear that alterations were included, I would have gotten my dress altered somewhere closer to home, and would not have had to make three additional trips to this place to try on dresses. I would never recommend this place to anyone.
