I called Ron and asked if they worked on car air conditioning and he said they did. I dropped my car off Tuesday night and they were supposed to work on it the next day. I received a call at 1:15pm and they said they hadn't started it yet but would do so first thing Thursday morning. At 4:45pm Thursday, 15 minutes before they close, I called about the status of my car since I hadn't heard from them at all. No answer. I called several times and they never answered. I went there the next morning at 7am because I needed my car to get to work. The car was in no condition to drive and they said the job was harder than they thought it would be. I finally got my car Friday evening and the air condition was cold.....for a little while. It would cycle cold then warm and back and forth. I also saw that they had severely cracked the dashboard, including around the vents. When I called back I was told the dash was brittle. You can see where they crudely pried it and dug whatever tool into the material. I had to take it to another shop and they said Swansons missed checking one of the sensors, which is one of the first things they should have looked at. The coolant was also four ounces low. I knew I had taken my car to the wrong shop. Later that evening, I was bothered and left Swansons a message that I was disappointed in my experience and that I had gone to another mechanic. I did not ask for anything at all. They left me a message to call them and when I spoke to Ron, he asked, "How is this my fault?" There was no concern that they fixed only part of the problem and had damaged my dash where it cannot be repaired. He was bothered that I had left him a message late in the evening, which I am not sure matters to anyone on the planet. This is a poor shop that does shoddy work. They are unprofessional and are more concerned with being right than taking care of their customers. They ruined my dashboard and could care less. I realized how poor my decision to take my car there was after going to a professional shop. Don't fall for the shill reviews on Yelp.
