Between May and November of 2013 [redacted] dropped off multiple garments for alteration. She accrued a balance of $120.00 that went unpaid until late August of 2014. We requested Ms. [redacted] pay by credit card or cash because so much time had passed and there had been extensive periods of time during...

which Ms. [redacted] was unresponsive to our requests for payment. When she finally submitted payment by personal check we were forced to wait for the check to clear the bank until we could authorize her son's $8.00 alteration to be completed. Her personal check for $120.00 cleared the bank on September 5, 2014 and her son's alteration has been completed and returned to him. We will not be reimbursing anyone in the [redacted] household or family for any charges.

I am rejecting this response because: During the time frame stated in the comments regarding the alterations the reason why I was unable to pick up the garments was because of a work-related injury from my Employer and was permanently disabled during the dates specified. It is unethical because my son has nothing to do with my issues at hand & no one should be discriminated against regardless of when the garments weren't picked up. If you would like to speak to my Lawyer, I will gladly give you there phone number. Swanson's employees from the Greenback location informed me not to worry about picking them up because they hold them up to year. No one had called me about the garments until it was over a year. Review: Swanson's Cleaner's is stating that my form of check payment didn't go through when it did on 09/05/2014 & have a copy of the payment that cleared my bank. They are holding my son's jeans which were already paid for back on 07/31/2014 for $8.00. My son's jeans have nothing to do with my clothing repair of my jeans that I have already picked up from the Cleaner's on 09/05/2014 that cost $120.00.Desired Settlement: My son should be reimbursed for his jeans after all the trouble that Swanson's Cleaners has put him through. He has had to wait for almost three months because of my clothing repairs. IF they don't give the jeans back in a timely matter, I will be forced to take legal action against the company for neglect on accusing me of a payment that has posted to my account & for all the trouble that the manager has put us through.
