Review: I was unable to cancel my membership at the location where I joined. I was informed that I had to contact the [redacted] organization myself. The staff were unwilling to do so. It was my responsibility to call a third party to cancel my membership at sweat gym in Philadelphia. I had to call [redacted] group ###-###-####, they informed me that I now had to write a letter to their office PO box [redacted] Arkansas [redacted] Give them sixty days notice, make sure I have my membership number, my address and why I am terminating my membership or it would be invalid.I was mislead when I joined Sweat gym in Philadelphia, no contract, cancel anytime, at the location where I joined.Desired Settlement: A garuntee that my membership will be cancelled in sixty days, a letter was sent to [redacted] on September 28, 2013

Review: I have been a member of this gym since 2/29/08. I asked for a pause in my monthly billing, which they did. In august of 2013 I called Sweat and their billing company to tell them that I no longer wanted to be a member. They said I had signed an agreement in March of 2013 for a year and could not resign now. I never signed any agreement other than the original one, which was for 18 months. I asked them to send me a copy of the "supposed" agreement that I signed in 3/13. They sent me a form agreement which did not have my signatire and the initial part was not my initials. They have been hounding me for payment since I resigned, including robo calls every day. Please get them to stop calling me. Thanks

Review: I have been using the Sweat Fitness gym on [redacted] on an infrequent to somewhat regular basis. I recently brought to attention the management that many of the [redacted] equipment is not functioning properly and moving sporadic or not working at all (example. Machine #12 was not working at all due the the cable being disconnected). The next day, they decided to have an issue with my membership stating that I was not paying enough. I originally signed up with a membership that would allow me to visit any sweat gym in the [redacted] area. Now they have changed their policy on me without any notice saying that I can only visit gyms in the suburb location and forced my to change my membership to $45 a month. This is false advertising - telling me my membership would allow one thing and then years later tell me it means something else. They led to my 2 friends as well and gave them the exact same lie to sell us memberships. I have 2 witnesses to this. In addition, the management in the day time at the [redacted] location is very rude.Desired Settlement: I want my membership for access to all locations at $35 a month rather than $45 - as originally agreed and I request that they send someone in to service the exercise equipment on the 1st floor an the 2nd floor.
