Hey [redacted] we received a complaint ID # [redacted] regarding the customer [redacted].  [redacted] had visited our repair facility on July 20th,2017 We had diagnosed [redacted]’s vehicle he had brought it in overheating after diagnosing [redacted]’s vehicle we had called him with a estimate to replace...

the radiator, intake manifold gasket, battery and spark plugs.  We gave [redacted] a estimate for $1600 + gst to repair all these items.  [redacted] had explained to me that he only wanted to spend $1000 on his vehicle.  I explained to [redacted] at that time that I could NOT repair all those items for $1000.  Giving someone a $600 discount wasn’t feasible for my company we would be loosing money.  I explained to [redacted] we could repair the intake gasket and radiator for that price which costs $1200 but could help him out.  When [redacted] came to pick his vehicle up he was very irate in my showroom that I wouldn’t give him a $600 discount which is completely unreasonable.  [redacted].  I tried to negotiate with Owen in a polite manner but [redacted] I had asked Owen to leave my property.  Owen continued to yell and scream at me so I called to RCMP, [redacted].  My shop completed the repairs he paid for and offer a 1 year 20,000km warranty on those repair, Any further questions or concerns please feel free to contact me [redacted] thanks Richard S[redacted] Richard S[redacted]Service Manager

I am rejecting this response because:The business response is not factualWe agreed over the phone for these items which he quoted for $1600 to be done for $1000.The items were 1) fix the Radiator 2) The heating gasket.3)The  heat guage 4)Change the spark plugs 5) Change the battery.When he agreed to do these work he did not State the the items he will not do.[redacted] It is natural for me to me unhappy for the incomplete services I recieved. I was polite but firmly assertive. I State categorically that I dd not use any abusive words in our conversation.I naturally questioned why the other things were not done. He said he charged the battery. I pointed out to him that it does not cost anything to charge a battery as he was claiming he did more than changing the radiator and heating gasket.[redacted]I I State again that his version of events are not accurate.[redacted]
