I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ***Please add your rejection comments be]Dear ***,Thank you for your responseI do not appreciate you blatantly lying that is not professionalLet me start by saying you mention that you provide an unmatched quality of care at your school....then why was my daughter seriously injured there....among other things? You mentioned that you and you staff are 'extremely professional'....I beg to differThe way your school has handled many situations has been extremely professionalWhen your computer system goes down at the school when was MANY times over the summer and witnessed by several parents whom I have communicated with, your staff left hand written notes taped to the doors stating to 'come on in, the locks are broken'...as a parent that was very terrible to seeAnyone could walk into your lower building at any timeWhen I addressed this with your director ***, she said that the classroom to the left is in charge of watching the door when the locks are broken, well the room to the left is the INFANT room, so your infant teachers are supposed to be watching infants AND watching an open door to feet away! You mentioned that I screamed on the phone, no such thing ever happened! I had a conversation with you a few months in about the concerns I had about the quality of care my daughter was receiving and we discussed the lack of options in the East Greenwich area and spoke about the fact that Sweet Peas is the only center that does not have an extensive waiting list, all the other centers doI remember also discussing that my older child attends school right near SPV making SPV the best option for my children as far as commute times and car timeThe final straw was the staff at Sweat Peas allowing my daughter to fall down the stairsone VM was left on my phone, and my husband who is very involved with the school and the children was never notified at allKnock on wood my children have never ever been hurt on my watch and it absolutely broke my heart to see the inch gouge injury on my daughters back, my husband was devastatedI had a very important medical procedure scheduled before we could find another school for *** so we had no choice but to take *** to schoolWhen I picked *** up and informed *** That she would not be going back *** the director informed me that for special circumstances deposits are refunded and this was a special circumstance as we had to secure another school for our daughter on a whim and had to pay another depositThe new school has been AMAZING btw, we wish we would have pulled our daughter a lot soonerThe week refund that we receive my daughter was not in attendance at the school and our card should not have been charged in the first place but we had been set up on automatic payment method and SPV never cancelled it when our daughter left the schoolIn the mean time we wait for our deposit that we were promised by *** when we left, since then I have been hung up on and given the run around by your schoolI feel blessed that our family has been able to find a wonderful school where we now 'know the difference'

I want to respond to this complaint about the quality of care that we provide to our children is nothing but the best.  Our teachers attention to detail goes unmatched by a any other early childhood school.  Our teachers are extremely professional and have the best interest of the children...

at hand.  Our policy clearly states that our deposits are non refundable unless we receive written notice with two week window of a child's last day with us.  I have been in business for 20 years and I have never met a parent like Mrs. [redacted] she  lacked trust in our school from the very beginning.  She would scream on the phone to us including myself one day.  In this conversation I requested that she look for an alternative school for her daughter because it was clear to me she had no trust in us.  When I asked her to find another school she said she lives on the same street as us and it is extremely convenient for her to send her daughter to us and was way too busy to look for an alternative.  The day that her daughter fell down the stairs she was notified and the teachers and school nurse tended to her daughter immediately.  She then brought her daughter to school the next day.  Why is you feel that unsafe about the care we provided would one bring their child back to school.  We will not be returning Mrs. [redacted]'s deposit it is against our school policy.  She was refunded the week that she did attend for two days after she left.
