She ordered a specialty birthday cake in the amount of $to be picked up on June 17, She states we were rude the minute she walked in If that was the case, which I can tell you it was not, why did she order this particular cake from us Happy 30th Birthday was made
out of fondant Did I leave the "h" out, yes I did This has never happened in my years in business I am only human Did she inspect her cake, as most of my clients do, before she left the bakery, absolutely not She ranted and raved how beautiful it was This customer went home, ate this particular cake, and not until days later, June 20th, did she contact us We told her had she inspected the cake or as soon as she noticed the discrepancy, she should have called and returned to the bakery, as it was a simple fix She stated she was a half hour away and wasn't willing to do so Why did she not call before they ate the entire cake? She insisted that $5, 10% of the cake total, was not sufficient It was only an "h"! This could have been fixed She is also the first client that has ever stated we were rude We have never had a complaint Our clients are always more than satisfied I will settle with a $in-store credit, no cash As it was, I gave her a deal on this cake This cake should have been $
