The business is lying they made me wait for over 2hrs and then told me that the cake will not be ready at all. They never offered to refund my money or to supply me with another cake. I had to tell the manager [redacted] to give me another cake and she reluctantly agreed and gave me a stale cake she chose herself. The business took my order and my money which was paid upfront and had no intentions of ever fulfilling my order thus stealing my money. I demanded a refund and it was denied by the manager [redacted]. If the business is offering a refund now I will accept it but they need to be honest about the incident, lack of customer service and their intentions of accepting payment for an order they never intended to fulfill.

be delivered that next day. Due to a mechanical issue with our ovens we were delayed in getting out this order. [redacted] was asked to wait a relatively short time 15-30 minutes for her cake or we would refund if she wished. She became anxious and chose to buy a cake which was in our case.
 
At all times we advised her we would refund her money. If [redacted] was not satisfied with her purchase will gladly refund her money.

Review: I ordered a cake for a party 1 day in advance. I paid for it cash in advance. When I showed up the next day to pick it up at the time we agreed on they told me the cake was not ready. They made me wait 1 and 1/2 hours to tell me they were not going to have the cake ready for me. I asked to speak to the manager her name is [redacted] and she did not apologize told me it was my fault for ordering a special order and did not offer to replace the cake or give me my money back. I paid for this in advance and feel they did it just so they could take my money. I had to demand another cake and the owner reluctantly agreed and proceeded to give me an old stale cake that was pre-made and priced less than what I had previously paid for in cash for the special order they never made. I feel making promises and taking customers money in advance with no intention of fulfilling the order is unethical if not illegal. This bakery needs to get in line with the law in the State of California.Desired Settlement: I request to get my money refunded since I paid in advance and the bakery never had my order ready and replaced the cake I ordered with an old stale cake that was priced at a lower price than the one I ordered.

Review: I went in on aug 27 6:30pm to buy a cake, employee oscar helped me telling me the different types of cakes they had. I specified I did not wanted a (3 leches) cake, he offered a carrot or mocca cake. I took mocca home to my surprise that mocca is 3 leches a moist cake. Bakery was closed by the time I cut cake @ home and to tell you true some guest did want to try it but not birthday boy. Besides this flavor deception clerk abreviated ( happy birthday) with a hb when I specified hbd. Next day I call bakery number on receipt and is a personal phone # of an employee.She told me manager/owner woldnt be in for the next week to hold on to my cake and call next week & she has seen only partial refunds on this cases, assuming it has happend before. As to her advise I called next week on the 3sept .again I got the same response, owner/manager is out on training and doesnt have time or date to give me to talk to him, just to keep on calling.I waited another week and on friday sept 10 decided to go in at noon and leave cake with them since its just taking space on my fridge.Blond Clerk takes it & tells me to come back saturday morning to talk to Karina because she couldnt give me a refund but karina could. I show up sat 12 @10:30am clerk oscar is there telling me I cant get $ back that I needed that same day if I didnt like the cake, the blond clerk the day before didnt know what she was talking when she told me to go back, that he doesnt speak english thats why the misspelled happy birthday.There is nothing him or anyone can do and on their green board with cake flavors doesnt say mocca is tres leches & they still have the 2 week leftover cake in their fridge behind the counter. They have never taken my name or phone #. I have 3 different numbers to contact them. I asked oscar if he could put owner on phone to talk to him and said NO,I AM SO UPSET I had try their cake @ a party and liked it thats why I decided to try them, but they just nit willing to serve their coustomersDesired Settlement: I was even thinking I could accept a small cake but not anymore, im afraid if I take they will do some think nasty to it. 1/ 2 refund and apology accepting their mistakes what I want.
